Thoughtfully made & delicious - Edit
Ate here a few times now, and each time the food is thoughtfully made. The menu changes slightly seasonally and the owner is very intentional with each ingredient they use. Came back recently and they had several new menu items. Worth a try

How to find it! - Edit
Naver maps has the location a bit off so navigate to the end point with Naver ( the map app that works for walking in Korea), then switch to google maps with your GPS on and you will find it as Google has the location right. Basically The lady here speaks perfect English so if you can't find it, call. Walk up the hill and around the corner past Hanoi restaurant.
Read moreIt is lovely and cosy inside, very welcoming and I'm happy that it isn't just western food. I ordered the winter special Kimchi stew with tofu katsu (17500 won... About $13usd), very yummy and a good size.

Amazing sandwich - Edit
I had the Ji pai sandwich and it was very cheesy, tasted like pesto and fried chicken stuffed with cheese. Very comforting. Staff was super friendly.

Can be a wasted trip - Edit
I called a few days in advance to check that they'd be open on a certain date...they said they would be open.
Read moreHowever, upon arrival they were closed! :(
Reason being, they'd used up all their ingredients.
I was really disappointed.
Unless you make regular calls to them on the day you want to go, there's no other way of being sure that they'll be open by the time you arrive.
So save yourself the hassle and always call first!
(I've been there before and the food is great!)

Slow comfort food - Edit
Small resto with a short menu. No healthy options.
Read moreFood was okay for what it was, with the spaghetti “pomodoro” being my favourite. It was well executed and the design was interesting too. It had a generous amount of sauce and a creative presentation.
The kimchi risotto was disappointing, though. The reason: it was sweet and that ruined the whole dish for me. If it wouldn’t be for the sweetness, it would have been very good.
Preparation of dishes took rather long, but not as long as the preparation of my chamomile tea which arrived shortly after the food.
The venue has limited seating. We were lucky to get a table without a reservation on a Friday night. It seems to be a popular spot, so be prepared to wait if you go there.

Delicious! - Edit
Absolutely loved this place, one of my favourites in Seoul! Particularly enjoyed the gangjung – the combination of the spicy red sauce and green pesto-y sauce was fantastic, and the texture of the stretchy rice cake on the skewer was INSANE. Really loved it. Even the strawberry lemonade was great!

little choice. the homemade cordon bleu is very good but we think it's a pity to put it in a sandwich, it would be better showcased on a nice plate with vegetables

Utterly beautiful - Edit
Small and homely little restaurant with the owners doing both the hosting and cooking. Menu is small but you don’t need much because the flavours are incredible. Both dishes we tried were full of flavour and so rich in taste. (Apologies as don’t remember their names but pictures to help).

Update:
Read moreI have been back several times & had one time the mushroom bowl - amazing 10/10
And also
The red curry twice - 10/10
It’s one of the best restaurants in Korea!
I also had the Bolognese pasta and tried a bit of the truffle pasta but I would order the curry or mushroom bowl - they’re better
Omg this place is definitely on top of my list for going back 🤭 they have a small menu so they put all the effort in every dish! Fully vegan!
Everything has a very special twist 💖
I can highly recommend the lumpia
Filled with kimchi and super crunchy and not oily at all
Also it comes with a chili jam that pairs perfectly well together 🙏
As a main I had their cold soba 🍜
They’re the best in whole Korea from what I have heard 🤫 it’s on their seasonal menu so order before they change their menu!
The restaurant itself is located close to 📍 Hyochang Park 🌳
I am totally in love with the interior: clean, with plants 🪴 mirror, even a „fire place“ and a cute dinosaur 🦖
I will be back for sure because the bestseller: mushroom with rice 🍚 is already something I am craving right now 🤭😻
They have truffle pasta as well (this one was undercooked and not good, but the rest is amazing)
Lovely interior and well thought menu

Delicious little spot! - Edit
Quite small interior, seating for maybe 10 max? Cozy decor. Both dishes we ordered were delicious! The smoky bolognese and crispy mushroom rice bowl, both 10/10 would get again. Portion size was perfect. We went around 7 on a Sunday and they were sold out of two dishes as well as beer.

Erg betaalbaar.

Vegan comfort food - Edit
This restaurant is a hidden gem amidst a sea of meat and fish serving restaurant. I ordered the smoky Bolognese pasta and it was great. Though it was nothing like Italian Bolognese, the taste was very nice: sweet, a little spicy and just hearty. My boyfriend had the Thai red curry and was also very pleased with his choice. I can really recommend coming here.
