Vegan Italian cuisine in a large variety. - Edit
I visited this restaurant with my non-vegan family members hoping for some vegan options. Turned out that they’ve got a whole vegan carte with a big variety of veganized meals from the “normal“ card to choose from. Their grilled veggies and other starters are really delicious, my salad was not only tasty but also a healthy portion and my main course didn’t disappoint as well. As you‘d expect from a real restaurant the staff was attentive - and also knowledgeable. Absolutely worth the price.

Da dieses Restaurant auch Fleisch serviert, kommt hier jeder auf seine Kosten. Das vegane Menü ist üppig und man hat sehr viel Auswahl. Bisher hat es mir immer sehr gut geschmeckt. Was ich ganz toll finde: Zu Silvester (ich glaube ebenfalls an Weihnachten) bietet das Restaurant ganze Menüs an, auch komplett vegane. So kann jeder - ob omni, vegetarier oder veganer - bestellen was er mag. Vegane Weine sind auch im Angebot.

inexpensive and whole vegan menu - Edit
Just ask for the vegan menu and you’ll have to choose between amazing options. Meal sizes are big and the price is great. Unfortunately it doesn’t taste good. Have been there multiple times and neither vegan nor non-vegan food tasted good.

Fantastic tasting food, wide selection - Edit
I was here the second time and once ordered spaghetti with Seitan and checkpeas and today the noodles with carbonara sauce. Both times it was so tasty, I couldn’t stop eating although I stuffed. The portions are big and the price is right. The selection is amazing because they have a separate complete vegan menu that you can ask for. They also have great deserts. A must if you are in Karlsruhe!

Eine Stunde aufs Essen gewartet - Edit
Mein Sohn und ich mussten eine ganze Stunde auf unsere Bestellung warten, was sehr unangenehm war. Man kam leider auch erst kurz bevor das Essen serviert wurde auf uns zu und erklärte die Situation. An sich ist es ein freundliches Restaurant, aber für uns leider keine Option mehr.

On demand you can get a vegan menu. There are so many dishes that it is actually hard to pick something because all of them sound great (and acutally they also taste great!). Usually there is also at least one vegan dessert available and there are even a couple of vegan wines. It is very cozy inside and the prices are perfectly fair.

Huge vegan menu - Edit
Wonderful ambience, friendly staff and above all: the vegan menu is bomb :D The philosophy of the owner: "Everyone is supposed to find something to eat on the menu" is just great and we had difficulties to choose because they offer so many different dishes. Bruschetta, pizza, pasta, gnocchi and also the dessert ... everything was really good and even the "omnivores" were enthusiastic about the vegan dishes. I can highly recommend l'incontro. We will definitely come back soon!

A lot of options for vegans - Edit
If you ask the waiter/waitress they will give you a vegan card with a lot of options. I had a big pizza with veggies on it and it was very nice. Also the prices are reasonable.

Although L'Incontro is not strictly vegan, the vegan menu is incredible. I cannot recall the last time I had so many dishes to choose from. They offer starters, pasta, pizza, vegetable dishes and even desserts. We had the Pasta alla Carbonara (10 €) and Pasticcio al forno (10,50 €) as well as a vegan strawberry cake and cappuccino with soy milk. Everything was delicious and the service was great as well.

So straight up: L'Incontro serves meat. BUT they have a separate vegan menu (that you need to ask for) with a large range of vegan pizza, pasta and other italian fare using ingredients like vegan cheese, vegan béchamel sauce and vegan salami. The menu said that vegan desserts are available, but we were too full to discover them.

Price is alright and there is an opportunity to sit outside in summer. It's only 1 minute from the trainstop "Kaiserplatz"
