Delicious food! - Edit
Loved the good- sooo good! However it’s a bit outside the center. Good to visit during the day. I found the pita bread to be a bit greasy- only downside to what I tried. Otherwise great service and food.

Best vegan restaurant I have been to! - Edit
In general I have done my share of travelling around. From all the places I have been to, Lime Bistro is the best vegan restaurant so far! Cannot describe enough how good the food here is: the bruschetta is a mouth-watering experience, the onion soup is one of the best soups you will taste, the mushroom gyros is amazing, the Risotto is extremely flavourful, the tiramisu is the best vegan dessert I have ever had! Add to all of these that the portions are really good and the price is amazing for the quality of what you are getting. Also, super friendly and polite staff. If this place was e.g. in London, it would be the top vegan restaurant in town, hands down. Cannot recommend it enough guys!

Rip-off - Edit
To begin with, they did not have many meals from the menu (due to menu change... Okay), so the selection was limited. At the end, I ordered a banoffee that they didn't have either but they said they could prepare banana split for me instead. What they brought was one single banana, cut in half, fried, with some chocolate sprinkled on it and some canned coconut whipped cream at the side. They charged 8.5 eur for THAT. I didn't believe my eyes. Absolute rip-off! Food comes in small portions and is way overpriced. Disappointing, definitely not recommended.

Amazing Food - Edit
Amazing avant garde food that isn’t pretentious but is absolutely delicious. Good portion sizes. Gyros was so good, tasted just like chicken.

Very nice but a bit over priced - Edit
We had one starter and two mains and cocktails. One of the downsides, they don't have paper menus, so your phone has to have a scanner to download their menu online.
Read moreThe starter was mozzarella balls that were very well done, unfortunately the sauce they came with was rather sweet and not to my liking. We shared the hot dog with coconut fries, aside from the sweet coleslaw, this was well done. The gyro had something bitter in it, and the black almost burnt like pitta bread that wasn't great. The mushroom gyro filling and tzatziki were tasty especially the tzatziki.
I had the lime strawberry cocktail with rum instead of the gin, it was refreshing but bitter and not really that good for 9 euros. The seating was ok but it's not really very atmospheric. It's charging gourmet prices and some of the food, definitely the cocktails and the seating/atmosphere need improvement to match.
Pros: mozzarella balls, some of the food was interesting and tasty
Cons: you need a phone with scanner to see menu, bit pricey for what you get, could use nice seating for price

We had 2 starters and 2 mains. Far too much to eat for us, but everything was great. Home made nachos and the gyros were the best!

Big portions very tasty - Edit
The prices are definitely higher than at some places but the food is very good and high quality (organic as well) so I feel like it’s justified. A meal ist 10-16€ so for a restaurant it’s actually moderate prices. The people who work there where really nice and I the atmosphere was very nice. I loved the food!!! By far my favourite restaurant in Athens. Also if you want to try the beyond meat burger they make it very well. After my meals I was so full I couldn’t even eat dessert :))

Never again - A waste of time and money - Edit
The only thing the Lime Bistro had to offer was acceptable food. But the portions are shamefully small, so my girlfriend and I didn't even get enough of one starter and one main course for each of us. The small portions are also overpriced, so we advise against visiting the Lime Bistro, especially because of the many other vegan food options in Athens. Mama Tierra, Healthy Bites, Veganaki, Mystic Vegan offer e. g. clearly better food possibilities for vegetarians and vegans. They are cheaper, the portions are much bigger and the food is not prepared without love in these restaurants. The waiter in the Lime Bistro also had a partly cynical sense of humour, which led us not to tip, although we always do. All in all, not to be recommended.

Delicious food - Edit
The food was absolutely delicious. I had the mushrooms gyros and if I wasn't vegan I wouldn't be able to tell it was infact vegan. It was that good. Husband had the tacos and hamburger which were very tasty but then ordered another mushroom gyros cause it was just so yummy! Definitely recommend this place.

This is such a cool, creative restaurant. Really delicious mushroom gyros, veggie kebabs, and salads. The wine list is interesting and we had a Greek varietal we'd never tried before. The service is friendly and smart. And the vibe is really nice.

All gluten-free, amazing meals - Edit
Been here several times this summer. The whole restaurant is gluten free, which is just the best for us since both my wife and I have gluten allergy.
Read moreThe meals are amazing:
- we had mozzatrella almost all the time, which is essentially breaded cheese, as a starter
- my personal favourite the beyond burger, what comes in a bun soo goood and tasty that you dont feel its gluten free
- salads are also great, we tried falafel and tabouleh
- doner was better than gyros, but the tzatziki is amazing, tastes like the original!
They get the ingredients fresh from local providers
Pros: The whole restaurant is gluten free, Kind staff, Very delicious meals
Cons: Closed on Mon and Tue

Wow, this restaurant blew me away with their menu options and taste of dishes. Each dish is large and filling. I especially loved the variety in the menu so you could eat there every day and never tire of it. The service was impeccable, atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and I received excellent recommendations for wine.

One of the best vegan restaurants in Europe - Edit
A great menu with very successful and amazing veganised versions of many traditional Greek dishes like soutzoukakia and gyros. We loved the almond feta, mushroom gyros and we got to try the beyond meat burger! The two owners put a lot of love and "meraki", every time they create a menu and that makes Lime Bistro one of the best restaurants one could visit, no matter if you are vegan or not 💚

Amazing rissoto and Beyond Burger - Edit

We had the beyond Burger that was really good and we had to try it out here. A little up on $ bit totally worth it, the vegan cheddar cheese was perfect. They make everything, ketchup, bread, sauces, so it is full vegan. We also had the spinach brown rice risotto that really surprised us.
Dimitri was great and very kind
Great place
Pros: Todo super vegano! Beyond burger, ambiente perfect, Dimitri
