As-salt on the tastebuds

Presentation: 5/10
Taste: 4/10
Atmosphere: 7/10
Price vs Quantity: 10/10
Selection: 7/10

This adorable restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere with a fairly spacious interior. The staff do their job and do it well, they are attentive but do not harass. The wall decorations were nice to look at however when it came to some of the plant decorations, some of the plants where in oversized pots other plants were wilting and this gets distracting.

The selection of food is good because you have a choice of over 20 different small dishes. The orders you make all come out at once which allows you to enjoy the variety. If you only want 1 large option, they have that as well.

Rice and noddles are extremely affordable for €1 and arrive as a sensible portion size. Small portions are €3,50 meanwhile larger portions at closer to €10. I advise ordering small dishes to get that taste of variety.

However, some dishes, especially saucey ones, did taste saltier than they should be. The rice helps with the salt however, the salt still took away from the flavours of the fruit, veg and other seasonings.

Overall, there is room for improvement but it is fully vegan, has a good use of fruit and veg in their small dishes and I think this restaurant is worth eating if you get the opportunity.

Pros: 100% Vegan, nice decor and atmosphere, Staff were good, affordable , Can order smalls dishes for cheap to get variety

Cons: Dishes taste similar due to a lot of salt, Food presentation has room to improve

Absolutely yum!

Really good range of vegan food and great value for money. There's options to have one big bowl to yourself or share some smaller portions which I would highly recommend as it's really hard to just choose 1 dish.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Affordable

We ordered 4 small dishes to share and were very impressed. One dish was a vegan fried egg and it tasted very similar! Good price too

Very disappointed

I wanted to have a good time with my non vegan friend. Well that was not.
He ordered a pad thai and i ordered something not on the menu but still very famous in a the thai cuisine. Something i basically order everywhere : a panang.
Dishes are served in a bowl....hmmm okay. Pad thai was quite untasty.
Panang was without curry. I also asked medium spicy without success.
We won't be back.

Pros: Fake duck was impressive and tasty.

Cons: Not thai. Untasty.

Grandiose Geschmacksexplosion

Cons: Keine

Like the style, like the tofu

Rumours travel long – after we heard about the vegan fried egg at the new vegan Thai restaurant li.ke Thai Vegan (pronounced lii-gay) near Boxhagener Platz, it didn’t take a long time until we let our feet take us there. The most likely first all-vegan Thai in Berlin opened just a few weeks ago and met us with friendly service and a very vibrant interior full of writings on the walls in their local language. You immediately got the feeling that you just as well could have been at any restaurant in Bangkok. When our eyes glanced at the menu, we decided to take five small bowls of different dishes with the vegan fried egg as an extra option. Wow, li.ke really know their way how to handle tofu – crispy fried on the outside, soft on the inside. Though a small warning is needed for the more sensitive people – it was spicy! And Warning no. 2: the food was so good, the spices really married each other (especially the curries), so you will want to come back several times to try everything, and then have it again, and again …

Pros: Tofu, Spices, Interior

Cons: Might be too spicy

Try the Vegan Egg!

5-stars for the egg, was very tasty and convincing😄
we tried several different dishes - the food is not spectacular and portions are not big for the price..but it's all worth it because of the egg :))!

Pros: vegan egg

Great restaurant

We went to the li.ke for Dinner with friends. You can choose between a lot of tapas for 3,50€ , which is cool for sharing when you go with a group, or big bowls for 8,50€.
We had some tapas bowls with crispy tofu & jackfruit, summer rolls, dumplings, curry , fried dumplings and a big bowl with a vegan fried egg (👌🏻) and it was absolutely delicious!
The service was quick and friendly, the atmosphere was nice.

Pros: Lots of different tapas, Delicious food, Quick & friendly service
