Great location, good for breakfast - Edit
Seating right along to beach, so definitely where you should go if you want a leisurely restaurant meal right on the beach.
Read moreWe got breakfast here. The chilaquiles were really good. I honestly don’t know if I’d go here for lunch or dinner because there are sooooo many great options in Playa del Carmen, but there are few options for breakfast open this early.
It’d also be a great option if you’ve got a group with picky omnivores who don’t want vegan food and/or want to eat at something nice, focused on table-service instead of takeout, near the main tourist strip.

Minimum of $600 pesos spend per person to stay there for the beach and chairs. They have a great extensive vegan food menu. The chairs are reserved for the hotel guests until 11:30. So we ate breakfast, had a juice at the table then snagged chairs when the time came around. I got the banana pancakes for breakfast, so delicious (sorry for the half eaten pic!) all the juices, mocktails, and peanut butter maca smoothie was soooo good. Highly recommend! We stayed for 6hrs. The water was so warm but rocky.

This place really has it all. It’s got a fun, beachy vibe without a lot of the cheesiness that comes with many beachfront places in Playa del Carmen. They have live music that is actually good, beachfront tables and loungers, a sand floor, and swings at the bar. The drinks are good but not very strong, which is actually kind of a nice thing if you want to use it as a base for the beach loungers. We got the vegan nachos with jackfruit and vegan cheese and they were really good. I definitely had a great afternoon.
Read moreService is a little slow but it’s a big and busy place, so that’s to be expected. Just kick off your shoes and relax. It’s worth waiting for.

Beautiful views and yummy vegan options! Visited in 2022 and had to stop by again in 2023 for the cauliflower bites. Love the live music and sandy seating options. There seems to be a lot of seaweed in March/April which does have an unpleasant odor but if you sit closer to the bar the scent isn’t as off putting.

The food and drinks were good. A lot of vegan options to choose from. The best thing about the Lido is that it is located at the beach with a great view. Definitely a good vegan option but there is a lot more to explore in PdC.

This is a great place to watch the sunset and have some good food. Price was reasonable. Food was great. We had the lentil burger and 2 coconuts. We weren’t super hungry but wished we had room for more! They offer Buffalo cauliflower , mushroom burger, vegan tacos, salads, sweet potato fries and more. The only down side is that people were smoking cigarettes. So if u sit a at the tables closest to the water you can avoid that.

Definitely more expensive that other places in town but reasonable for a beach club. We got the Buffalo wings which tasted good but were a bit soggy and the nachos which were really good. The vibe here is nice and they had live music. They also have daily cocktail specials for 80 pesos

Great place to chill and have lunch, staff is very polite and always ready to help. Plus the location is perfect because you can sit near the beach and enjoy your coconut or whatever you have for a drink.

Perfect vegan lunch on the beach! - Edit
I am always weary of ordering vegan dishes at restaurants that aren’t fully vegan since they are usually lacking in flavor, and are typically not creative. This place absolutely came through though!! We have been a few times now and are impressed even more every time. We have ordered several dishes and they have actually been better than some all vegan restaurants we have been to. If you are looking for a lunch or dinner spot on the beach with solid vegan options, this is it.

Absolutely adored this place for breakfast. We ate here every single morning of our stay. You can sit right on the beach right by the ocean. We loved the vegan chilaquiles with mushroom or jackfruit. Their smoothies and non- alcoholic cocktails were wonderful too as well as their vegan chocolate banana pancakes. Very relaxing place for breakfast especially with a child because they were able to play on the sand whilst we enjoyed the beautiful view!
