classic italian food made vegan - Edit
Leonardo Verde is a cosy restaurant where you can eat all classic Italian dishes made vegan. the menu is impressive and delicious. surprisingly good pizzas and pastas.
Read morehowever their cuisine is strongly based on meat and dairy substitutes (e.g. pasta with fake cream and fake meat, pizza with fake cheese and fake ham). for some people it's not a problem. i would prefer more items like their "bistecca con patate" - a steak made from oyster mushrooms, which is delicious and a definite must-eat!
still, I would recommend LV to anyone - both for a date or just for beer and pizza.
Pros: delicious, cosy and comfy, pizza!
Cons: too much substitutes

3 stars is not bad, it's just average - Edit
Very comfy place, the atmosphere is great but the food is just average or little above average. Cool place to hang out, but not as great to have dinner with your SO. Lot's of options and the volume of dishes is great.

Great meal, great setting - Edit
My wife and I enjoyed a great meal here - creay pasta sauces and tasty lasagne galore. The restaurant itself is busy and the kitchen is almost open plan, but this adds to the charm. Out table was slightly cramped for space (they were almost fll and we were lucky to get in) but it didn't spoil our meal and we left really satisfied.

Bardzo ciekawe miejsce ze świetną obsługą. Pizza smakowała nieco dziwnie, ale pewnie dlatego, że to była moja pierwsza wegańska!

First time in Leonardo Verde - Edit
After first visit in Leonardo Verde I absolutely fell in love with this place! Fantastic staff, food and atmosphere. I had my first vegan pizza with broccoli, spinach, basil, avocado and pumpkin seeds there and was surprised how good it was! I also tried their (vegan) gingerbread which was also very good.

Leonardo's green beard - Edit
We visited here twice during our recent trip and found the food, ambience and staff to be very good. On our first visit we sat outside where we could soak up the atmosphere and buzz of Poznanska and ordered the arancini balls and focaccia to share as a starter. The arancini were divine and came in a delicious tomato sauce but the focaccia sadly, was a little dry and not what we were expecting at all. For mains we ordered the salami pizza and pasta carbonara with a glass of house red wine to accompany the meal. The pizza had a nice thin base and was full of flavour and seasoned well, with a great selection of toppings, but the pasta carbonara was a little disappointing and wasn't really creamy at all. Tasty but not as expected. In total we spent 105zl. On our second visit we ordered the funghi al forno and chickpea and tomato balls to start, followed by the aubergine pizza and green risotto. I cannot fault any of these dishes at all, as each were perfectly cooked, seasoned and extremely flavoursome. The risotto and funghi al forno were a particular highlight. Price wise I think we spent about 100zl again. A must visit when in Warsaw.

A really good Italian restaurant! - Edit
We had a lovely, quite romantic, dinner at this place, which is located on a very lively street, filled with bars and pubs. The menu is irresistible and long (but not too long) and believe me, it wasn’t easy to choose from it! If we had more time in Warsaw we'd go back to eat there again, as the food, atmosphere and service were great. The only negative I can think of, is that the pasta was a bit al-dente to my liking, though I'm sure it was right up there, on Italian standards. Oh, and don’t miss out on the Arancini balls!

😕 - Edit
Lovely place. For the food the rice balls stuffed with mushrooms were very good and the Tempe a bit too smoke.
Read moreThe waitress took our plates too fast which is not appropriated. I didn't finish my sauce. We are going to the restaurant to take our time and enjoy, not to stress and feel that we have to eat and leave fast. She even didn't ask.
Cons: The hurry of the waitress.

delicious - Edit
My husband and I both got a pizza. He got a Hawaiian which was really delicious and I got a pesto one. It had too much onion for my liking but otherwise very nice. They was a miscommunication and they made me the wrong pizza but they were very apologetic and made me the correct one.

food looks better than tastes... unfortunately - Edit
We decided to give the place a try and although it looked promising it was rather disappointing. I had the marinated tofu which was soaked in some broth and rather mushy... with little flavor. My boyfriend had a craving for a pizza ... and it was average. We had recently tried amazing vegan pizza in Budapest and it definitely raised a bar.... So to summarize a nice place, good for a date or a business lunch but the food was average... maybe you get luckier with your food selection :)

Rewelacja - Edit
Wspaniałe miejsce - duża, klimatyczna sala jadalna, (plus za cegłę i słoje z roślinami); dodatkowo sala z coctail barem. Przemiła, nienarzucająca się obsługa.
Read moreJedzenie cudowne. Pizze to jakiś szał (madagascar + vegan gorgonzola - mogłabym jeść do końca życia), makarony świetne (carbonara, con verdure grigliate, con spinaci e salmone), sałatki i dania też pyszne (insalata con verdure grigliate, bistecca con patate). Bardzo dobre wina.
Zdecydowanie warte odwiedzenia!
Pros: wspaniałe jedzenie, jakość i wielkość porcji adekwatne do ceny, piękny wystrój i przemiła obsługa
Cons: głośno w ogródku (osłonić się roślinami?)

Excellent food, not amazing service - Edit
I really enjoyed the food and wine here, but found the service to be a bit off. For example, I ordered a glass of wine, and while the restaurant was practically empty with 2-3 servers standing around, it took 15 minutes to arrive. Oh well. High quality food otherwise!

The menu (also available in English) is really extensive. I was quite content with the taste as well, only service suffered considerably from the fact that there were too few waiters for too many clients.

Best vegan option in Warsaw! - Edit
I never make any reviews, but for this place I will make an exception.
Read moreMy boyfriend and I went here three times, and had both ciders, beers, cake, breakfast, smoothie, pizza, gnocchi, cabonara and oyster mushroom steak (so good). Everything was so enjoyable, and they even added fruit for my breakfast, because I asked if it contained any fruit (menucards i Polish - we are Danish, and did'nt stand a chance..). The staff are nice and friendly, the bartender was nice as well and made amazing cocktails. I love the interior and music. It is well-visited too.
Even though we only had three days in Warsaw, was Surrounded by awesome vegan places and had a little way by feet, we visited three times! - I could eat here every day. Srsly.
Pros: Awesome food, Cheap food, Nice staff, lovely interior and music
Cons: Only Polish menucard

Pizza, risotto, and cocktails - Edit
The foccacia starter was a big portion really nice, crispy with olives but would have liked more oil on it. The bruschetta starter was smaller but could not fault it, absolutely delicious. The green risotto was perfect (according to my boyfriend). I had the hawaiian pizza which was really great however I would have preferred a crispier base, similar to the focaccia. Cocktails were lovely too. Great prices and lovely setting, would recommend.

Vegan Italian fine-dining.. and a vegan bar! - Edit
Just when you thought that the vegan scene in Warsaw could not out do itself, Leonardo Verde enters the race. LV is a very welcoming Italian Trattoria, serving veganised all Italian classics, from starters to mains (arancini, bistecca!) pizza and pasta, salads and desserts. All with gluten free options. And a cool bar too! The food is delicious and the service is very friendly. Good for first dates, to bring colleagues from work or for a night out with friends, it ticks all the boxes. Definitely a must-go in Warsaw.
