fancy French food - Edit
It was awesome to try some traditional French cooking (with a vegan twist). Bourgignon, crepes, souffle, tarte tatin... So good! Service was really good and all in all it was just a lovely meal. Must book in advance for dinner!

Went here my last night in Paris last year. I recommend this to all of my friends who visit Paris, even if they aren’t completely plant based. From beginning to end, the meal was excellent.

I was able to be seated without a reservation, was kindly told how long I had before they were full with reservations, and served wonderful food.

Awesome atmosphere and delicious food - Edit
Found via Happy Cow after visiting Centre Pompidou. It was a great change after a rather tasteless lunch in one of v turistic restraurants close to Notre Dame. It was full of flavour and beautifully served. We ate a Buckwheat pancake and Aubergine suprise. Both splendid. Definately will go back

True gem! - Edit
It was our last day in Paris so we were very happy that we managed to visit this restaurant before leaving the city of light. Amazing and very friendly service, French food you don't want to miss (I loved their onion soup and seitan bourguignon). Lovely atmosphere and nice rustic décor. We will definitely visit on our next trip to Paris!

Good experience - Edit
It‘s a classical small parisian restaurant, very busy on a Sunday night, so we were glad that we had made a reservation. The staff was friendly and the food was good but not excellent. If the dishes were more tastefull, the bread not so dry and the presentation of the dishes more loving I would give more stars!

Tout est vegan. La salle n’est pas très grande mais la déco est aggréable. Je me suis régalée, les assiettes sont copieuses et la cuisine est très bonne! Je recommande 😊

Good French bistro - Edit
French bistro atmosphere and classic French bistro dishes remade as vegan - a great place to go for this. We had seaweed tartare (excellent and well-flavoured), seitan bourgignon (great idea but lacking in mushroom+wine flavour depth, and way too salty [this was blamed on the stock!]), and then apricot creme brulee (very nice, but a little heavy). So not perfect but a good three courses. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Delicious vegan french food - Edit
As I was in Paris, I wanted to try some veganized french dishes, and Le Potager du Marais hit the spot. The french onion soup was delicious (great vegan cheese), the seitan bourgignon was super tasty and the creme brulée was a bit on the dense side, but still delicious. Portions were definitely big! Worth the price in my opinion.

Favorite restaurant in Paris - Edit
Worth the wait and the splurge, everything was absolutely delicious and unique. We tried the potato with pesto and olive tapenade, lasagna, and burger with smoked tofu. Very flavorful and filling food, I really need to figure out how they did that tofu so well! Our waiter was extremely friendly. We got lucky not having a reservation ahead of time (just had to come back about an hour later), but I would definitely make a reservation next time. Waiter said they accept either via phone or email.

Maybe the only thing is there is one quick waiter, but if there are so many clients same time, then can take some time. So be well prepared :D

Delicious traditional-style French food - Edit
This is a tiny restaurant located near Centre Pompidou. It is popular, so be sure to book in advance.
Read moreThe staff was very friendly and attentive. The menu consists of traditional French dishes which have been veganized. We took the seitan bourgignon and the buckwheat crepes filled with leeks and mushrooms and both were delicious. The mushroom pate (starter) was also extremely tasty. The desserts looked fantastic but we were stuffed with our starter and main.
It's not cheap but the portions are large.
Pros: Centrally located, Friendly staff, Sizeable portions
Cons: The tables are very close to each other

great food - Edit
We booked to go here for dinner as we had heard it was busy and we were lucky we did. The place is nice and cosy. We were the first diners there for dinner but it was soon fully packed. The downside to that is service took a little longer than it should have. The food however was absolutely incredible (special shout-out to the French onion soup and it’s vegan cheesy goodness on top) and the waiter was very nice. Overall, delicious food but book ahead and be prepared for wait times.
