We had a fabulous meal at Le Botaniste, great food especially the coconut ceviche. Lovely staff and owner who took time to explain everything and made us a great offer. Highly recommended will definitely visit again :)

Novel concept: bowls of fresh ingredients but with hot toppings (eg chilli, curry, mushroom gravy). Fast. Hearty options too. Tasty. Decor has the theme of an apothecary.

My wife and I popped into La Botaniste on a recent trip to NYC. We enjoyed the quick-service format and the accessible wine and beer selection. The food was unfussy but delicious and satisfying, and the atmosphere was calm and cozy. Definitely worth a stop-in!

I had the Bolognese Pasta (V, GF) and it was exquisite. The pasta was very good, and didn’t taste like it would be gluten free. The sauce had chunky tomatoes, vegan meat, and flavors of garlic and herbs.

Read moreI didn't eat a full meal here, but did order drinks and some of the beet hummus. The prosecco I ordered was good and the beet hummus was delicious and flavorful. However, they only give you one little cracker and one little piece of bread with the beet hummus, so you'll have to eat the rest with a spoon, which isn't ideal. This place is not cheap either...and it felt cheap to eat hummus with a spoon.
What was annoying about this place is at least two ladies were basically doing their Instagram shoots all around the restaurant and were posing all around us and throughout the restaurant. This would have been a great, relaxing experience if not for that.

I think most places that are totally vegan too often try to replicate meat and dairy based foods instead of embracing the great flavor and variety of natural, plant based food. Le Botaniste is great because it does the latter (and very well in my opinion!)

This is on my top five vegan nyc spots! Their food is heaven, super healthy and super delicious. Every time I eat there has been amazing. They also carry unusual beverages like the kale latte, my personal fave.

Cute little place if you happen to be in the area and are looking for quick but healthy, quality food. I visited the UES location several years back and thought it was nice but pricey. Now they have this half-soup-half-entree-portion deal, which is pretty good value for NYC. Unless you’re alone, avoid the tables in the back as I found them too small and cramped for two people.

If you are in Soho, you should give it a try. I had the chili con carne, it was delicious. Portions a bit small for my taste . The had the chia pudding with berries, very taste as well. Will definitely comeback!

Nice quick spot in SoHo with a cool antique pharmacy vibe. They have an extensive selection of tasty vegan options and also serve wine. In a great neighborhood. They do not have table service so you order at the counter. Nice for a relaxed evening.
