Great vegan food and amazing architecture/layout!

I’ve been to Lazy Farmers several times now and have tried the following dishes: chestnut soup, seaweed pasta, cashew nut cream miso pasta, broccoli cream soup, chili tofu enchilada, basil oven pizza. The flavors of the pizza were good, but the texture was a bit too spongy. All of the other dishes, however, were great. The broccoli cream soup and enchiladas are my favorites. I also visited the cafe, and their desserts are good as well. Aside from the food the architecture/layout of the place is absolutely amazing (so many cozy/unique rooms spread throughout the facility)!

Nice for dates

This is a new restaurant specializing in veganized Western food, like pasta, pizza and salads.

Prices range between 15.000 and 25.000 KRW, so they are a little bit higher than other restaurants.

But the pizza is pretty large and generously garnished with creative toppings.

Overall, I felt that the serving size is good, food is good and the service is good. It's a somewhat upscale restaurant which seems nice for a date or a special occasion.

You can tell that staff and chefs are professionally trained. I also loved the atmosphere: The interior is green and combines modern and rustic elements, calm Jazz music plays in the background. The restaurant occupies an entire building with a garden, the corresponding cafe Savage Garden is in the building next door - accessible via a walk through the garden.

Pros: good food, creative, friendly service, nice atmosphere

Cons: They "warn" customers that the menu is vegan lol

Fantastic food and place!

The food was plenty and very delicious. A lot to choose from and everything with a special and unique seasoning. We had an amazing evening. The restaurant has areas in different styles: modern/industrial, cozy and a new area with a couch in the basement. Also great variety of products for homecooking for sale.

finally good portions!

everything about the interior of this restaurant is really thought out and made to be inviting. the plating is also very good, and the menu (although in my opinion a bit too large) is easy to read, clean, and informative.

i liked most of what we ate here and like i mentioned above if they maybe pared back the menu and worked on perfecting every good dish, this could be a five star place.

the service was so good and very attentive. he was so helpful and didn’t seem annoyed to do his job unlike some other “fancier” restaurants here.

the best things were the breakfast plate and the french toast, and everything was filling and could be shared among friends. there was lots of fruit and veg which i really like and appreciate.

the pizza was sold out which was unfortunate, but i would like to try it next time. some of the prices i think are a bit much for what they are, but it was a good overall experience.

it’s not long since they opened, so i think they have the definite potential for five stars. will update

Pros: great service , great atmosphere

Cons: expensive

Fancy veg

I think the "college" aspect of this place is ironic because the prices are not student friendly. This is is high end vegan dining!

The food is good so I guess it's worth the price if you feel like splurging. Small things like soup are around 8000 and mains are 18-24000. Pizzas are a bit more.

The same is very calming and the staff are very nice. AND the sever gave me a free gift when I left! It was a kind of "bread" thing that could be cooked or eaten right out of the package. Basically, it was rice and oats and some other grains pressed together. Not very flavorful but it was still nice to get something for free.

The server gave me (and others) a lil exit survey about the food and service. I think it's great that they are gathering feedback in these early stages!

The new standard in Seoul!

Menu is best in Seoul. Food was all done to a very high standard but not some bougie fusion experiment. They serve real meals that are familiar yet at high standard.

I over ate while here. The Lazy Farmer plate is a perfect brunch plate. That bacon made from rice paper was perfect. The rosti was great. The french toast was very good. A bit more dense than I am used to but tasty. Everything is filling.

If they keep this size menu and this level of food and service then this will be the place others envy in Seoul. This is a big "if" because I was here on first day of soft opening so there were very few customers. I wonder how they will do with both floors packed with customers, which is something this place deserves to have.

100% worth trying

Pros: Food, Service

Cons: coffee only served in their cafe next door, dessert only served in their cafe next door, price will be high for some but portions large
