Very meaty

The „meat“ looks almost TOO much like meat.
The plate I had wasn’t too convincing tho.
My boyfriend had the milanesa and was very happy with it.
(The homemade lemonade is weird, don’t take it 😂)

Pros: All vegan , Good for vegans that miss meat , Cheap

Best restaurant for Argentine food

Incredible. There’s no other place in the world like La Reverde. It does vegan Argentine right! The chorisaurio is humongous and so good! The bread is great, the chori is great, the sauces are great. If you go at night, get the parrillada para dos to try all their meats. Their vegan meats are unlike anything I’ve ever had! They mastered the texture and flavor. Also, the empanadas are delicious and the whole place has the feel of a typical Argentine restaurant with cozy vibes and friendly service. Also, the dessert cups are bomb.

Pros: Empanadas , Vegan meat, Choripan

Cons: Ninguno, Ninguno, Ninguno

Best vegan fast food in Buenos Aires

The seitan milinesa is excellent. I really like their vegan cheese. Definitely a reccomend this place. Don't expect raw healthy food just because it is vegan. It is a parrilla place so you should know what to expect.

Pros: All vegan

Excelente lugar

Cons: Caro

Fantastic

A pleasant little spot with friendly staff and delicious food. As a large guy who likes his food, this place was an absolute delight. Filling and delicious but also based on local foods so you have the opportunity to try local style cuisine

Pros: Lots of options, Friendly staff, some speak excellent English

Cons: Not a big place and can get busy.

Disappointing

I was really excited for this restaurant but the food I got wasn’t good - I got a baked empanada but it tasted really gross and my sandwich was very bland (basically just fake meat on bread).

definitely a must!

it used to be sort of hard to get a taste of traditional Argentinean cuisine, but this place has done it! they are all in for tradition in its cruelty-free form! Everything they prepare is delicious, their seitan has the best texture ever, portions are generous, staff is very kind!
make sure to try their desserts such as the “chocotorta”!

Best in town

By far the best and my favourite vegan restaurant in town. They manage to season the "meat"😉so well it actually taste like the real deal. Big portions and super cheap.

Worth the wait!

This was such a great little find. Was not expecting to be able to have an Argentinian steak experience as a veggie! We shared a sort of “mixed grill” with steak, sausages and pork, which were all made from different sorts of protein. The fries were also amazing. The portions are very generous and it’s very cheap for what you get. It’s a very small cafe and very popular - get there early or expect to queue. Because it was so busy the food also took quite a long time to come (our waitress did tell us this would happen).

Pros: Super cheap, English speaking staff, Amazing food

Cons: No English menu, Long wait time , Cash only

Pros: 100% vegano, cocina tradicional

Amazing food, cash only is annoying

The food is really good. It really is. It’s one of the best approximations I’ve had to traditional Argentine food. I had the chorizo sandwich and it was really good.
Service was OK and actually above the standard for Argentina, where waiters are usually rude.
The fact that the place only takes cash is very annoying, but that’s also a very usual feature in Argentina.

Pros: Many options, Good approximation to original dishes

Cons: Cash only

Amazing! We are speechless.

The fake meat tastes so unbelievable real that we wear not sure if this is even vegan but it is. We never ate something this good before. Finally I could eat the traditional Argentinian food (in a vegan version). We’re still amazed and planned already to got here tomorrow again. Also it’s super cheap.
The restaurant was full but we ordered anyway to take away.
You have to try it! Actually it’s a must! 😊

Pros: Amazing taste of the fake meat , Amazing taste in general , Super cheap

Da muss man hin!

Great Argentinian cuisine!

What a great find. We had lunch here and were lucky enough to get in just before the lunch rush where there was a line of about 20 people waiting to get in. Definitely a popular place. We really enjoyed our empanada, parilla and chorizo sandwich. It’s so great to be able to enjoy traditional Argentinian food as a vegan. Definitely not one to be missed. Also try the housemade grape fruit lemonade. Super refreshing on a hot day. The staff were lovely and spoke great English. It’s also really well priced.

Parrillada argentina vegana !

Very oily and not worth the hype

After stopping at Spike Lion we were recommended this place however it wasn't on our list as it opened at 8 and we like to eat early. The reviews were fantastic and I was so excited. I was going with a member who is not full vegan so I was excited to show how good vegan food could be but I was disappointed as was she. We got there at 7:55 And were waiting for them to open, the woman asked us what we wanted and I told her we wanted to eat. They opened 2 minutes late but that happens. We got the choripan vegano, parradilla vegans, papa rustica, ensalada, jamon y queso empanada, canasita de queso, copita brownie con nueces y Copita marroc. When we entered tje restaurant my member commented that it smelt like old oil but I told them to be positive. We received the food fast which was good. The choripan was with chimichurri which was good . The empanada was tasty. The copita de queso tasted weird but I didn't know what to compare it with. The parradilla was not evenly cooked , and the meat that tasted good was the one that looked like steak. The French fries were very oily and soggy , and did taste like old oil as the other food (parradilla) was very oily too. Their desserts were very good. The only thing they could improve is to write a sign that it is cash only or maybe advise the diners there, hope this place can improve in the future . If I went back I would stick with the choripan, empanada And desserts. I also noticed on the bad comments about the restaurant the owner decides to write back comments that I feel do not help improve their future business(google). These reviews are to help the future of the business and to be able to allow more people to go and enjoy the meals whilst they can fix the errors with their food but here's to hoping for improvements in the future.

Pros: Food comes out quick , Ham and cheese empanada was good, They have alcohol

Cons: Don't open on time, Oily and reheated, Unevenly cooked

The very best in Buenos Aires

I loved everything about this place: first of all it is original and authentic! It’s small (often you have to wait in the line to get a seat) but cosy. Staff is lovely and very eager to help and accommodate you even if you show up 15 min before closing time. We went there several times and the place was always full, with people coming and going with take away as well, great well done!! Food is delicious and very fulfilling, huge portions, cheap price. Don’t go if you don’t like mock meat .. otherwise it’s a must in Buenos Aires!

Pros: Authentic vegan food, Cozy, lovely staff , Cheap

Cons: Cash only

Loved loved loved

Loved everything about this place. Vibe was great (though we were lucky to have gone for an early lunch because it got busy). Service was great. And the “ham and cheese” empanadas were the #1 thing we ate in Argentina.

Not the lightest food, but fun to be able to get the “Argentinian” experience from the food to decor.

No surprise it was so crowded

This small and cozy place has serious good argentinean (made vegan) food. I strongly suggest the empanadas and the "chorosaurio" sandwich. It deserves five stars, for sure, but would be even better if the dessert options were more interesting.

Pros: inexpensive, central location

Cons: limited dessert options

Not so healthy but all for the cause

It was toó oily for me and my partner but im glad it exists for those transitioning or who like a greasy fix. My partner had some seitan that immitated pork fat and it was toó close to the real thing for US to enjoy. Not our style but go for it if youre into that. Cute atmosphere

Cons: Greasy
