Perfect little vegan restaurant - Edit
Perfect little vegan restaurant with a cool selection of dishes. The olive and tomato cake was fantastic. The Buddha bowl was also great.

Best vegan restaurant in Aix - Edit
Simply the best vegan restaurant in Aix. From starters to pudding, everything is vegan, fresh and homemade! Even the tempeh, the seitan etc. The place is small but cosy and the owner is an incredible host.

The only 100% vegan restaurant in Aix - Edit
This is a really charming place, which is run by a man who is clearly committed to veganism as a way of life. I mention this because his dedication is reflected in the way he runs the place and the way he talks about the dishes.
Read moreIt was really busy the night we went there, with people who hadn’t made reservations being reluctantly turned away because there were no empty tables.
The food itself is tasty yet subtle. I loved the spicy pumpkin soup and the lasagna was, apparently, full of flavour. (I didn’t try it myself because I don’t like tomato).
For dessert, one of us had a kind of fruit tart, which was a little bland, while the other had carrot cake, which was wonderful.
I’d definitely recommend this place to vegans, vegetarians and anyone else who likes good food in a warm relaxing environment.

We planned our trip and day to get there soon after we arrived in Aix. We ordered an entree to share (tomato and mushroom tart). It was served with a small salad and it was very tasty. I then ordered stuffed zucchini served with polenta cubes and salad and my partner ordered the lasagne. Both were generous serves and again delicious. Nice service too.

Cozy place and fantastic food! - Edit
We had a great evening at La Cabane en Ville. It’s a very small restaurant with such a lovely ambiance. The host / owner is running the restaurant on it’s own. Cooking & serving, all food is home made and tastes amazing. I would highly recommend this place! 😊

Read moreThe multi talented owner ‘Zouka’ is also the chef and waiter, does everything single handedly.
Food just delicious and well cooked, I tried the lasagna, one of the best I’ve ever tried actually. layered with aubergine, fresh tomato and a delicious vegan cheese and veggie mince. Also had the Salade De Cobane which was varied and interesting.
You could really tell everything was made with passion.
Chocolate mousse which I had for dessert was exceptional too.
Although its a 100% vegan the atmosphere felt very much like an intimate, traditional French local. Really nice. With modern and cosy decor.
Highly recommended La Cabane to anyone coming to Aix.
Despite all the excellent reviews on HC, no window sticker present so ill be sending the Zouka one.

Schwer in Südfrankreich/Provence vegane Möglichkeiten zu finden. Das hier war ein Erlebnis. Kleines, feines Restaurant mit sehr guter Auswahl von der Vorspeise bis zum Dessert. Super freundlich. Kommunikation möglichst französisch, etwas englisch. Preise sehr gut. Wir haben es genossen und empfehlen es unbedingt weiter. Leider gibt es keine Möglichkeit für Aussen Sitzplätze. Wir kommen beim nächsten Mal wieder 😊
