My non vegan mom and I tried the Phileas Fog (Earl grey and whipped cream!), and the spicy pecan and Maple donuts and both thought they were delightful. Great flavours.

The price is equivalent to other fancy donuts and they’re pretty large.

If they accepted cash (as it's a LEGAL form of currency), that would be a start. And while I like the texture of their donuts, they are unnecessarily sweet. You can't even taste the flavors since all you taste is the sugar.

Really good doughnuts. Sometimes I find they’re a little inconsistent (less filling than others) but a really great place, highly recommend. Also have coffee, their iced lattes are 10/10 #Veganuary

100% VEGAN DONUTS TO DIE FOR - Edit
These vegan donuts were so bomb!!!! We ate at ChuChai and had walked by the bathing pink donut sign on the way to dinner without realizing it was a vegan donut shop. So happy we stopped by afterwards though! It was later in the evening so some of the greatest hits were sold out, but we got the Phileas Fog, a passion fruit donut and a couple others. Took them to a park and had to restrain ourselves (mostly restraining myself) from indulging in all 4 at one time. I barely survived that internal struggle. Can’t wait to go back next time I visit!

Passion fruit, Blueberry, cream Brulee and Sankt Dennis Donut and all of them were very good. We could taste the main ingredients of both fruit donuts at the first second. Unbelivable tasty. And both cream donuts were also really good, i love the Boston donut and the Sankt Dennis is almost the same.

We were in Montreal for 5 days and went to La Beignerie twice because oh my goodness these are the best donuts I’ve had in my life! We would have gone there a lot more but there’s so much food to taste in Montreal that we just had full bellies all the time 😆 the people working there were also very nice, the prices were great, I have nothing but love for this place in my heart! They also donate a percentage of their benefits to a new charity each month 🥰

The doughnuts here are works of art. They are so light that I briefly worried they weren’t vegan! The specialty flavors are unique and it was hard to choose which to try. I got the creme brûlée doughnut which had a delightfully crunchy brûlée topping and a sweet custard filling. I look forward to trying other flavors; they had about 10-12 flavors when I was there.
Read moreThe only drawback was that signage didn’t indicate vegan clearly - a vegan walking by without prior knowledge probably wouldn’t know they were in a vegan establishment! I double checked and the staff confirmed everything was vegan, but if I hadn’t been using Happy Cow I never would have assumed I would be able to order something—let alone everything!—from the menu.

Although the sign doesn’t say it, La Beignerie is 100% vegan and makes delicious donuts — just see their Instagram! Be sure to try seasonal flavours as they pop up, last fall (before they had a storefront) we tried their pumpkin and it was 💯. So pleased they graduated to a storefront!

Delicious donuts. I am 100% sure non vegan people wouldn’t see any difference! There is a nice patio during summer time. Only thing to say is that it would have been nice to have more drinks choices, the choices were really basics, so I had nothing to drink, but the donuts are really sweet, so you get thirsty.
