Elite level dining experience - Edit
IMO, one of the top restaurants, not just in Toronto, but in Canada. This is Michelin-star creativity, all vegan and gf, unleashed in authentic Mexican style. If Pujol where plant-based, and transported from CDMX to Toronto, this might approximate. Ivan and his team will deserve the acclaim that will surely follow. Bravo!

I’ve been to Mexico twice, the first time I was not vegan and the second time I was. This is the closest toronto has to the vegan food I loved in Playa. The tortillas are so fresh and the fillings are very creative. Props to chef and the team for the menu. It was the perfect way for me to celebrate my 30th birthday during covid.

Had one of the best meals in recent years at La Bartola! The staff were very attentive and helpful in offering suggestions and answering questions, the decor is so stylish and beautiful (great spot for a date night), they have an outdoor front and patio as well which is great during Covid times. And the food is beyond amazing! I was blown away by the hibiscus tacos, it had such complex flavors and textures, nothing like I have had before, I'm still thinking about it days afterwards. My partner loved the jackfruit tacos as did I. Another stand out for me was the mole. The food presentation was also notable. The cocktails were really standout as well. And I personally feel the prices are very reasonable for the service/experience. I really feel this is a serious contender for best vegan restaurant in Toronto!

We love you La Bartola Toronto - Edit
On a whim we made a reservation for our first visit to La Bartola today (after reading a glowing TO review yesterday). When the food arrived it was immediately evident that the food here is made with imagination and love! Not only is the food absolutely beyond delicious, but the ingredients are the freshest I have experienced in any restaurant. The food is soooooo good I am still thinking about it and planning my next visit and who to take. The staff, service, and surroundings are as inviting and impeccable as the food! I'm just blown away. Everybody involved in this gem deserves highest praise.

Loved this place. The service was attentive and the food was delicious. I thought it would be expensive but the bill was reasonable in the end. Try the corn which is amazing. I loved it.
