Great ideas, quick service - Edit
I went a couple of times, the service was always quick and seamless.
Read moreThe food is junk food mainly, yes - but you get what you choose. For Junk food it is nicely made and good quality, the portions are good and the taste is great.
Pros: Many options, Quick service

Spacious, great variety of options - Edit
Went with a friend and we tried out a bunch of dishes including the avocado burger, Neapolitan pasta and cream sauce pasta, as well as the lemon tart. Delicious, not disappointed at all.

Great cafe! Nice food, layout, and amenities - Edit
Really nice place to come for a day to work! WiFi, outlets, comfy private booths and good food make this a place I’ll definitely come back to. My only gripe: The sandwiches have three layers of bread, so not enough other fillings for me. But the burger was HUGE! And they were tasty and made with fresh veggies. Good friendly service, and iPad menus that you can put in Japanese English Chinese or Korean. Great place! Coffee is nothing special, but nice enough. Prices is a about 1,300 for a burger with fries and coffee around 600, but this is ginza after all!

Convenient place for vegan junk food - Edit
Convenient cheap place in Ginza for vegan junk food. I believe it’s omni-meat they use.

Cons: A bit too generous with the wasabi

Great to stay focused or chill with friends - Edit
KOMEDA is a famous coffee chain from Nagoya and they recently opened plant-based one in Ginza.
Read moreThe interior design is as comfortable as their original ones but this one got perfect individual spaces (probably with electrical outlets) which suits perfectly for remote working.
The food is also tasty, The portion is as big as what normal KOMEDAs have and the menu reflects Nagoya specialty (such as miso flavour for hamburger and free toast for a morning drink), which makes this place more unique.
My recommendations are coffee jerry and Miso cheese hamburger (the cheese is so real) and my friend liked their matcha pancakes!
Food is served super quickly and the service is good too. Very nice place for staying focused with your self, also chatting/relaxing with friends
Pros: Free toast if you order drink before 11am, Big food for cheap price! , Very relaxing environment

Super convenient but lacking in taste - Edit
It's so great to have a family restaurant type of thing being fully vegan. Japanese people ought to love it!
Read moreTaste though... I mean, it wasn't bad. But that's the nicest thing I can say about it. I tried a salad and a burger. The salad was ok - how hard can it be, right? I was expecting quite a lot from the burger because being advertised as 'Wasabi burger', but it was really meh.
My two friends seem to have been a bit luckier, but then again, they're two very polite Japanese ladies. So unless it was terrible, I don't think they would have said anything negative. And they sure didn't say much about the food, so...
You won't have a bad experience I think, going to Komeda IS. But leave your taste expectations at the door.
Pros: Finally a family type vegan restaurant!, Convenient location, Great service
Cons: Taste is subpar

Well worth a visit - Edit
Komeda Is is an all-new, all-vegan version of the Komeda brand of coffeehouses and cafes. We had high expectations, but it didn’t let us down!
Located a quick walk from Higashi-Ginza station, Komeda Is features nature-inspired decor and a completely vegan menu, focusing heavily on sandwiches and sweets.
We tried the miso cheeseburger and the wasabi tartar burger to start. I wasn’t hugely impressed by the burger— while the meat and cheese were good, I wasn’t a fan of the miso ketchup. The fish burger was VERY good though! Crispy and with a nice fishy taste thanks to a slice of nori. The fries were fine.
There were so many options we had trouble choosing what to get for dessert, but we both went for the coffee jelly, and were rewarded handsomely. This was a generous portion of jelly and whipped cream, with a banana at the bottom. YUM!!
We had a great meal here and will definitely be back!
Pros: Great food , Reasonably priced , Beautiful decor
Cons: Maybe more variety would be nice
