Serves meat, vegan options available. A New Orlean style sandwiches poboy restaurant with something not often seen in poboy shops--vegan poboy that aren't French fry poboys. The choice changes from time and to and might be a roasted sweet potato & greens poboy or roasted vegetables poboy. Relocated from 811 Conti St. Open Mon 10:00am-8:00pm, Wed-Sun 10:00am-8:00pm.

Limited but Enjoyable

Not as many options as I initially thought, but still very enjoyable! I had their cauliflower po boy and it rocked! Their local soda selection was tasty, too!

Pros: Delicious po boys, Played National Treaure on the TV monitor

Cons: Small vegetarian selection

Delicious

As well as the vegan poboy options, (I had the cauliflower which i liked best and my friend had the sweet potato which she liked best) the sides had vegan options also. The green are amazing.

Artisit Sandwiches

We were thrilled to learn that we could get some good VEGAN Po Boys! We had an amazing, more traditional, Po Boy at a restaurant called SEED. The Po Boys here are a really artistic and a fancy take on the traditional version. Great, wholesome ingredients, and great flavours. I would definitely recommend...although in the end, I preferred the more traditional...I would still go back here for more!

Pros: Location Location Location, New Take on the traditional, Great ingredients and prices

Cons: Not traditional Po Boy

Killer Sweet Potato Poboy!

They had 2 vegan options - a sweet potato poboy, and a cauliflower poboy. I choose the sweet potato, which came with sweet potatoes, collard greens, and some kind of bean/nut spread. It was fantastic! Really, really delicious!

They had some wine and beer for sale too, but I didn't check barnivore to see if they were vegan or not since I didn't order any.

Only downside was that they clearly forgot about my order. Everyone else in my group got their meal about 10-15 minutes earlier... They gave us some (non-vegan) cookies as an apology for the wait. They were extremely crowded (we went about 1pm on a Saturday), so my order must have just gotten lost in the shuffle somehow. Not a huge deal.

Pros: 2 vegan options, very tasty!

Cons: crowded, took a long time to get my food

Unexpected and Unique

I highly enjoyed my roasted cauliflower and kale po' boy. There was unexpectedly so many choices that I was torn between at least three different sandwiches. I commend the chef for his/her imagination and creativity.

Pros: Options, Great lunch spot

Cons: Kind of dive bar-ish

Great vegetarian & vegan options

Poboys include roasted cauliflower, roasted sweet potato, whiskey grilled cheese. Sides include vegan collards and other choices. Very tasty!

Pros: Tasty

Cons: Few veg options among traditional Poboy choices.

Poboys for vegans

It's always great to come across a place that offers a veganized version of a local favorite. In this case, I was happy to find a roasted sweet potato poboy. The sandwich was tasty and really hit the spot after a few beers. And given the convenient location at the back of a bar, I could continue enjoying the local brews as I munched on my Killer Poboy. My only complaint is that the sandwich is a little on the pricey side for what you get. But to be fair, this place is smack in the middle of the NOLA tourist vortex, so what should I have expected?

Pros: vegan poboy, set in a bar

Cons: a bit pricey

Not Too Welcoming

Appreciated the tips on how to find this place, as there is indeed no sign on the street. Walked through the sketchy bar to a very tight back room that was the restaurant. The vegan menu option was a sweet potato poboy. Alas, sweet potatoes are the only vegetable neither one of us can get past our gag reflex, so we were out of luck. When we tried to check with the man behind the counter as to whether that was in fact the only vegan option, he told us it was one in five (items on the menu), and that we wouldn't find better in New Orleans. We certainly found better ambience and hospitality!

Pros: location, the dream of a vegan poboy

Cons: dark and dive-y, limited options, close quarters

awesome vegan po-boys!

Legit po-boy vegan option that is NOT a French-fry po-boy! Tip: call ahead for pick-up during lunch.

soooo good

This place is in the back of a bar and there is no sign for it outside but don't miss it! They offer 1 vegan poboy on the menu and it was insanely good. I would eat it again and again. Open till midnight and just off Bourbon Street. Delicious!
