American
Take-out
Non-veg
Serves meat, vegan options available. A New Orlean style sandwiches poboy restaurant with something not often seen in poboy shops--vegan poboy that aren't French fry poboys. The choice changes from time and to and might be a roasted sweet potato & greens poboy or roasted vegetables poboy. Relocated from 811 Conti St. Open Mon 10:00am-8:00pm, Wed-Sun 10:00am-8:00pm.

Great vegan options! - Edit
I had the roasted cauliflower on poboy bread and it was delicious! The greens are vegan as well. The staff was super knowledgeable about the vegan options too.

Veggie po boys - Edit
We got the greens/sweet potato and the cauliflower po boys. The liquid from the greens saturated the bottom half of the bread. That wasn’t so good, but the sweet potato in it was nice. We liked the cauliflower one a lot more, but neither was “killer”.

Fun in the moment; not super satisfying. - Edit
I never ate Poboys as an omnivore, so I have nothing to compare it to. The roasted cauliflower Poboys was yummy. While it was filling at the time, I found that I was hungry again only a couple hours later. Fun in the moment; not super satisfying.

Pretty good - Edit
Tried the sweet potato po' boy which was more mushy than we expected but still tasty, wouldn't say it was the best po' boy we had but it was definitely better than the fried tofu po' boy we tried at a very popular vegan restaurant in the Faubourg Lafayette area.

Two vegan sandwiches - Edit
I had the sweet potato po boy. It was delicious, especially with some Louisiana hot sauce. Bread was fresh, in contrast to the vegan po boy I had at all-vegan cafe “Seed” with some of the worst stale bread I’ve ever had.

Perfect to go with omni friends/partners - Edit
This is my review for the one located in Erin Rose. Super good, mine was the pecan spread + sweet potato + collard greens combo. I think at the bar they only have one vegan option available. And they're open until 12 AM, great bar hopping pit stop for hungry folks!

YES VG POBOYS - Edit
I have been wanting to find somewhere that made vegan poboys and I did in the very heart of NOLA!
Read moreI tried their ROASTED SWEET POTATO poboy. In it were the sweetest of sweet potatoes, braised greens and a blackeyed pea & pecan spread.
Thank YOU for taking a big step in the right direction!
Now, I wonder how much it would be to send some to Vegas? 🤔🤔🤔🤔

Ate here in October 2018 when visiting NOLA from Australia and I still think about the sweet potato poboy I had! Can't get anything like it back home, so good

THE BREADDDD - Edit
They have about 4 vegan options here. PoBoys was awesome. They have this delicious pecan butter they put on the sandwich. So good!! But honestly the roll this is made on is the most delicious bouncy bread ever. It’s so good. They also have voodoo chips which are amazing!

Great Options - Edit
I was happy to find a place with some cool vegan/healthy options in the French Quarter. Cashier was very friendly and helpful when ordering. Would do definitely go back on my next trip to NOLA.

Vegan PoBoys - Edit
Cauliflower was tasty and the kale a crunchy addition. Would order extra sauce and extra pickled radishes next time!

A little bland - Edit
Po-Boys (veg options were cauliflower or sweet potato) were large and tasty, but definitely could have used some seasoning.

It was nice to have this option. Had the cauliflower poboy it was good but the cauliflower could have been spiced up a little more in my opinion.

Great sweet potato Poboy - Edit
Had the sweet potato poboy and it was really tasty, the interior of the cafe is a bit rough and ready but it was fine for a quick bite and nice to have 2 vegan options (the other was cauliflower).

Just Average - Edit
I tried the cauliflower sandwich and the sweet potato poboy. I was hoping for more flavor on both. It was just okay, not something I would go back again for. It was kind of disappointing actually because I was hoping for a delicious vegan poboy.

Pretty good - Edit
I had the cauliflower po boy and the mustard greens. They were both pretty good! There was at least one maybe 2 other vegan options. They took credit cards and were very friendly! They were advertising that they had vegan options on the sign outside. ☺️

“Small” restaurant - Edit
The small restaurant is in the back of a tiny bar and quite tricky to find. But it’s well worth it! Unfortunately the smaller of the two only had the one with sweet potato and mustard greens, and I’m not a fan of mustard (hence only three stars). Would definitely go back, or to the bigger one with more vegan options.
