kind owners and good food - Edit
The store owners and staff are very kind and obviously care about the wellbeing of the six cats living there. Before entering, they tell you how the animals should be treated and the overall gist of the place. The menu has many choices. We ordered a sausage dish and nonalcoholic beer (my husband enjoyed it) and the veggie-burger—it was sooo good. My son shared with me, but also enjoyed the hot chocolate. The place is well kept, the staff is friendly, and the food is pretty good. You can only pay in cash.

Great food with cute cats - Edit
Wolfgang and his team really put a lot of effort in their place.
Read moreIt is a cute little Cafe right downtown Nuremberg.
They serve amazing food! Especially the cake selection is top notch.
Unfortunately, a lot of people, adults and kids, didn't know how to behave, so they had to put up a lot of signs and a lock at the door.
This is no problem at all but shows that they do care for the cats.
They also spend quite some time explaining the house rules to new guests.
For sure a great place to check out! Friendly staff, cute cats and great food!
Pros: Great food, Friendly staff, cats!
Cons: Too many harsh people annoying the cats

I wanted to like it but I just can't! - Edit
The place looks nice, but I have a few issues with it.
Read moreFirst I wonder why would a vegan establishment want to stock and sell cows milk.
Second is the cats.
I love cats more than few other things in life, the ones there seemed ok, but what I disagree with is the fact that they capitalise on them as a mean to get get more people in, resulting in lots of children being left bothering the cats by the parents, sure the cats have means to get away but as far as I could see they were cornered and unable to get away.
Now the food
I'm sure renting in such a central location isn't cheap, but charging over 10 euros for two thin slices of bread with an almost non existent slice of seitan inside and some leaves around seems a bit much, the traditional Bavarian breakfast (I actually asked some Bavarian friends and they all said it's not really it) is a supermarket bought sausage in a broth that you don't drink and a few leaves of salad, again very pricey and mediocre in taste, most other things on the menu were on par regarding prices and portion sizes.
Utterly disappointed, if happy cow would let me give it one star I would
Pros: cats, the place is clean and looks good
Cons: they sell cows milk, very expensive for what it is, cats are exploited to get more people in
