Ok all vegan cafe - Edit
I had the scramble tofu breakfast burrito. It was pretty good however it had a lot of rice and not very much flavor. I think it needed more sauce. My husband had the Hybrid burrito and also thought it needed more sauce.

And now I’m drooling - Edit
Used to have a serious addiction to their chocolate peanut butter banana smoothie to the point I took a photo of their sticky note recipe when I noticed it on the wall near their blender. Sorry not sorry! Their sandwiches are all bomb. Love the rueben far too much but that pesto tofu has my heart 😘. The sweet potato biscuits with nuts and earth balance of course will always bring me back. Those muffins too. Damn even their breakfast plates. Can’t go wrong here whether it’s breakfast, lunch, or dinner they’re always killing it. The staff is super cool and will shamefully start to recognize you as you inevitably become a regular. Try to only go here once! It’s not possible.

So delicious - Edit
We got the bodacious burrito and the hybrid burrito. The food was so tasty and the burritos were big. They also came with a little side salad. So happy New Paltz has this spot!

Delicious but be CAREFUL! - Edit
I was so excited about this restaurant and looked forward to eating at a well established vegan restaurant. I called to place an order and asked specifically about Gluten Free options. The gentleman walked me through what was available and I ordered a gluten free sandwich and cookie. Due to COVID, everything is take-out. I picked up my order and walked to meet my family. I opened up my sandwich and began eating it. I started getting sick and looked more closely at the sandwich and realized it was regular bread. I immediately called and told them I thought I had a regular sandwich. At first the man thought I was mistaken but then realized I was correct - I had sandwich bread and the gluten free option is a wrap. He immediately remade my sandwich but the damage had already been done.
Read moreThe sandwich was really good - I fed my first sandwich it to my daughters who are not gluten free - they highly recommend it. My GF cookie was very good too. I would recommend this restaurant but be very careful if you are gluten free and triple check what you receive.
Pros: All of the menu is vegan, Many gluten free options
Cons: Check your order especially if you order GF

Organic and great tasting food! Hype breakfast burritos served all day. - Edit
You can customize most any dish. There are set combo deals choosing the grain, veggie and protein of the day. (They had blackended tofu, cauliflower and Brussels which were BOMB when I ate there). I suggest the hybrid burrito as well. Then they have sandwiches, breakfasty burritos and salads to chomp on. Try them out when you’re in town.

Filling! - Edit
Great filling menu which changes daily grain/beans used in soups and other dishes. Their sandwiches, burritos and deli menu are so delicious. Must indicate on each dish (when ordering online) if you want utensils, also leave a comment. I've done both and still didn't receive them so check your order to make sure they have included them.

Been wanting to try this place since moving to the area recently and finally got there today. Awesome place with a great vibe. I got the daily soup and baked tofu sandwich. Not exactly heath food with the pesto and vegmayo but well worth the extra calories. The flavors were so satisfying and I loved the whole grain bread. Soup was very rich and hearty and great on this cold day. Oh ! and the slaw that came with the sandwich was really good. Definitely coming back, actually I might come back tonight for dinner so I can try something else....

An awesome little gem! - Edit
We found this little cafe on our way home from the Woodstock Farm Sanctuary (an awesome place to visit). The cafe is small and cozy and the food is amazing, though not cheap. I had a falafel wrap and Lima bean soup, while my little one had an avocado smash (what kid doesn’t like smashing? :)) and a sweet potato biscuit. We also had a berry smoothie. All the food was amazing and the people are nice. If it was not that far from home I would be an extremely frequent visitor. If you’re around there and especially if you’re vegan, please pay them a visit! You won’t regret it.

OK - Edit
I got the pizza, sweet potato rolls, chocolate cake and a strawberry banana smoothie.
Read moreThe smoothie was yummy and flavorful, they ask you what type of non-dairy milk you want and have a good sized selection.
The pizza was crumbly and bland. I did not like it.
Their rolls were the same as the pizza but had a weird and gross after taste.
The cake was so crumbly I couldn’t eat it, so, when I got home I put it in the freezer then ate it.
Overall would not eat here again.
Cons: Food is crumbly

Breakfast and Soups=So Good - Edit
I am a semi-regular at Karma Road. I love the people who work there and like a bunch of the sandwiches but none blow me aways. The by the pound or afford-a-bowls are good, and can be a great bargain. But the real stars in my opinion are the breakfast burritos, so good, so filling and a good deal. I am also a fan of a lot of their soups and will try a sample every time I go there. The samples often work and lure me as they are so good.

My Favorite Place to Get Food in New Paltz - Edit
There are so many great places for vegans to eat in New Paltz, and I love them all, but if I had to pick only one, Karma Road would be it. They have fresh and delicious salads, juices, smoothies, sandwiches & wraps and baked goods. They also have a deli case of prepared food which is great for to-go meals on the run. If every town had a place like this, it would be a lot easier for everyone to go vegan!

Excellent vegan cafe in New Paltz - Edit
Karma Road serves delicious vegan food. I can't say, however, that it is exactly the healthiest food (it seems like a fair amount of oil is used in most of their dishes). But it is overall excellent.
