Ok

Ok soup & salad sandwich. Pleasant but a bit bland. They could do with more table condiments (other than salt & olive oil). Vinegar, pepper, chilli maybe?

Alright

The place is beautiful, the food is okay I'd say. We had two sandwiches, one of them was just plain bread with onions, salad, avocado and tofu, no dressing or whatsoever, it tasted really plain. The other dish with avocado and corn tortilla was a little better, but nothing exciting. The ingredients seemed very fresh and high quality though. The male waiter with red hair was very friendly!

We left after 2mins..

My mum and I set off on a Saturday morning to find Karma after reading great reviews and I was hoping to have a lovely soya latte and vegan cake to start the weekend. Unfortunately as soon as we walked in we felt uncomfortable, no one acknowledged us and it seemed a bit pretentious. I popped up to the counter to get a breakfast menu and to ask which cakes were vegan. Two out of the six were, one was banana and one was sultana - both looked stale and both had a wasp flying around them so I didn't plan on trying them. Back at our table we looked at the menu which mostly seemed to be yogurt and muesli or fruit, nothing was labelled as vegan and I didn't feel like asking the staff who seemed busy and not particularly friendly. Maybe we hit it at a bad time but for us it wasn't worth searching for and we found a much better place to eat down the road.

Very cute place!

They offer a few vegan cakes (I tried the almond - seasonal fruits) and some food options (like hummus, soups, salads etc). Great coffee!

Modern Vision

This is a fine example of the new modern style of coffee shop now opening in beautiful Krakow. Even better, it's vegetarian! From Teatr Bagatela just walk down Ul. Krupnicza (a favourite vegetarian establishment street in Kraków). We noticed a sign saying tofu on an outdoor menu. Being the ever inquisitive vegetarian traveller, I confirmed with a member of staff inside that Karma is 100% vegetarian. It wasn't obvious from the outside. The two soups of the day were vegan with other vegan items on the menu clearly marked with a blue 'w' (the Polish 'w' is pronounced as an English 'v'). The coffee was seriously amazing. I am not exaggerating, the coffee was simply divine and available with soya milk of course. They bake their own cakes, quiches and tarts on site and serve other snacks such as wraps, sandwiches and light mezze type meals. The interior is modern, service is friendly and there is a great atmosphere inside. I wish we'd discovered it at the start of the holiday rather than the end. We will be back. We have been back. We will go back again.

Pros: amazing coffee, soups, modern

Cons: closes at 8pm

...

Delicious coffee, that's unquestionable, also a few alternatives. The cakes looked also very tasty, but I haven't tried any.
You may like it or not, but I have to say that's a typical hipster cafe, so it's casual somehow but also expensive. Nothing for low-budget.

Maybe the coffee is good...

I popped into this venue at lunchtime and was instantly attracted by the great selection of cakes (all were vegan). I decided to start off with some soup (two vegan soups available) and finish off with a slice of cake. The soup was really unbelievable: peeled tomatoes straight out of a can, a couple of tiny potato cubes, a little bit of mushroom and no side serving of bread, as is common in Poland. Thank God for some nice Thai flavouring! Next, I got a lovely big chunk of nut/choco/something cake. However, it was dry, had far too many ingredients and was hard to swallow. I left Karma with an almost empty stomach and a slightly lighter wallet. Around me folks were enjoying their Thai curries; perhaps I made the wrong choices that day...

Pros: Vegan cakes (great for vegans), Inexpensive, English-speaking waiters

Cons: Not tasty, Not filling

Hardly Anything Vegan

I went here for breakfast but only had very few things I could order. Had some borscht (beet soup). It was good but not totally worth the walk there.

Pros: Good atmosphere

Cons: Very little vegan food

GREAT vegetarian cafe

This is a great vegetarian cafe with delicious some vegan food as well! I am never disappointed by the food and coffee here! I highly recommend their salads and soups for lunch. They always have at least 1 Vegan cake and at least 1 Gluten Free cake. Unfortunately, these are not usually the same cake, so Vegans who are also GF will probably not find dessert here. There are usually a few GF and Vegan lunch options available, though. They also almost always have soya milk--which is hard to find in Krakow

Pros: some vegan options, meat-free

awesome little coffee shop

I had a soy cappuccino, which was great because not too many cafes in Krakow carry soy milk. I also had a slice of some vegan chocolate banana cake which was yummy, but a bit pricey. Overall, good food.

Pros: tasty, soy milk

Cons: pricey

Superb in quality & character. HAPPENING!

I don't drink coffee, but I am told it is amazing. Their homemade deserts are phenomenal. Grilled sandwiches nice, soups lovely. Mostly, I love the atmosphere of a buzzing coffee cafe where you can meet interesting people popping in. Friendly atmosphere, lively & fun. I would add some acoustic music sets by local musicians for the vibe. Great place!

Pros: Excellent quality foods, Great atmosphere, Superb homemade desserts

Cons: We live an hour away!
