Me encanta todo, menos que sus platos tengan nombres de productos de origen animal. Amo los sabores, la repostería, la atención.

Super tasty 😋 - Edit
I searched for vegan restaurants in Rappi and Kaime was the only one that popped out in Medellin. However, in the Rappi app it was not stated that it's 100% vegan restaurant so I was little confused. That time I still didn't know about HappyCow app. We ordered quinoa bowl with fries and the chocolate ice cream and it was soooooo delicious 😋 now that I know everything is vegan I would order much more 😍

Nice vegan options - Edit
Good food options but somehow the place feels a bit "pretentious" and the food is tasty but not that incredible and a bit overpriced (based on what we ordered). Still would recommend to go.

Expensive and needs service improvement - Edit
I was looking forward to trying Kaime, but unfortunately had a bad experience. First, the menu (and the waiter) says that the dishes are to share, but they are actually quite small. And very expensive. But so far I was open to pay a little more to try something new. What really ruined my experience though was the service. Once we realised that 2 dishes to share by 2 wouldn’t be enough, we’ve ordered another one, and after 30min waiting, we asked the waiter to check if the preparation was in progress. Another 10min passed and the waiter didn’t come back to give us any updates. So we called them again and then they told us that the dish wasn’t ordered. We asked for the bill then, and they charged service without asking, even though it was a poor service. We left hungry, and went to another restaurant to complement our meal.

Varying quality - Edit
Friendly English-speaking waiter, explained all dishes. We liked the cauliflower wings and the flatbread caprese. But the skewers with tofu were much too dry.

Beautiful venue, average food - Edit
Kaime has a truly beautiful and lively venue filled with plants and cozy lightning. Food is well presented and is ok but not great. We went to Kaime twice (once for dinner, once for lunch) and tried a total of 4 dishes (potato bowl, kaime bowl, whole cauliflower, spicy hummus). The first time the potato bowl was amazing due to the strong truffle taste, the second time it was not great as I could barely taste the truffle and the execution was more oily/heavy. The remainder of the dishes were average. For example, the roasted cauliflower dish lacked flavour in general, it was just boiled cauliflower with a very underwhelming and rather sweet cream. It definetly looked better than it tasted.
Read moreThey also have an in-house plant based bakery where they make croissants, cookies and cakes. We wanted to try their breakfast croissants with avocado&truffle and caprese filling, but since they were out of croissants at that moment, we ended up trying their chocolate croissant instead (croissants are huge btw).

Loved their little bites! Had the hotdog, which was great if you let go of your concept of a traditional hotdog. Great cocktails & wines.

Very mediocre and overpriced (for the Colombian market) experience - Edit
We had the Plant bowl and the Life bowl plus a red Jamaica non alcoholic cocktail. Presentation was clearly prioritised so most food was not bite size- attempting to cut food inside a tall bowl is a near impossible task. Flavours were very disappointing and simply didn’t go together.

Pros: Food Presentation, Decor inside
Cons: Over complicated meals, flavours don’t mesh well, Inattentive staff

There is not a good beatiful vegan restaurant in Medellín. It has to be one of three, good flavours, cheap or a beatiful decorated place. I want to go there for the decoration, but the menu doesn't give me enough trust. Thank you for the review.

Very nice - Edit
First of all, the setting is very beautiful. It feels very nice to be there and being surrounded by plants and lights. The food was great and the staff was really friendly. It was definitely a bit pricier than other restaurants, but worth at least one visit!

Food was good but way overpriced! - Edit
I have spent a lot of time in Medellin and was looking forward to eating at this restaurant after all the wonderful reviews I had read. It is in Poblado, the number one rated district in Medellin and both a tourist and ex-pat destination so I figured it might be expensive. I was not expecting it to be as expensive as some of the vegan restaurants in the United States. The food was good but not exceptional. The cauliflower wings were deep fried at too high of a temperature giving them an almost an impenetrable crust and a raw cauliflower center. Same problem with the french fries served with the burger. The burger was tasty though and so was the plant based bowl my friend had. I wanted to try the chocolate cake but would not pay 25,000 pesos for it when I can get an excellent slice of chocolate cake elsewhere for a third of that price. Hiatsu is a popular bottled tea here and can be purchased for 4,200 pesos in many places. Charging more than double that price just doesn't seem right. My feeling is that the restaurant does well because tourists and ex-pats are afraid to journey out of Poblado to try some of the other vegan restaurants in Medellin. A good example is Salud Pan in Laureles. While not exclusively a vegan restaurant it offers an organ vegan and raw vegan lunch that is excellent! Lunch there will cost you one quarter to one third what Kai is charging.

Amazing food - Edit
I went with my historically omni girlfriend who is trying to be vegetarian/vegan and it was the best vegan food she ever had. We had the hotdog and the potato salad as well as the salted caramel ice cream. My girlfriend also said the ice cream was the best she ever had (including non vegan ones).

Amazing experience - Edit
The place is just beautiful, full of plants and a nice atmosphere. Food had me surprised. Flavours are very well mixed and make an explosive combination that had my taste buds melt. I had the cauliflower wings, and a jalapeno hummus. A bit on the high end so don't expect cheap prices, but it's totally worth it.

Just amazing! - Edit
Probably the best vegan food we have found in Medellin so far. The restaurant is really fancy and a great option for a vegan fine-dining experience. They have great burger, hummus and a lot of different bowls to try. But the best thing we had was definitely the chocolate cake, one of the best I have ever had. Highly recommend to go here!

Many vegan options - Edit
The service is really friendly and on the menu are lots of options. The food is expensive, probably one of the most expensive places to eat vegan food in Medellin. I ordered the pasta dish with cheese sauce which was really good but nothing special. I liked it but would probably not come again.
