Unfortunately they did not have the cinnamon pastry, but the saffran semla and punchrulle were so good that we quickly forgave them. Interior could have been more cozy

Real question here - what can we do to be cosier?! We can't change the tables, chairs, etc as 'Kulturhuset' decides these for us. But is there something we csn add? Such a tricky issue for us that we really want to improve! Thanks!

Good question. That makes it a lot trickier indeed. Don't know whether it is allowed to put some decorations on the tables, cushions, etc? (I have to think hard how it was). Perhaps some hanging plants over the counter? Colour in the counter?

Kafé Plattan is a 100% vegan café with a great selection of wraps, main meals, cakes, sodas and coffees. We had lunch here with a plant-based friend, and all that we ordered was super tasty (cauliflower wrap, meatballs and mash, oatmylk latte).

We came here multiple times during our Stockholm trip and we truly had the best experience! Everything here is vegan and so so delicious! The warm dishes change throughout the week, so it’s worth coming back the next day! We first had sandwiches, walnut pesto (with mozzarella) & tofu banh mi (with kimchi & coleslaw). The second time we had a quiche and kimchi burger, both came with green and potato salad. Truly amazing place!

TexMex Wrap - 5/5 - Edit
Visited at 3pm and they shut at 4pm on a Sunday, so only wrap left was the texmex one. I am so glad it was though because it was delcious, really nice chilli and fresh avocado along with other fillings.

I can only recommend their cinnamon buns, especially if they are freshly baked. I had to wait for 10 minutes because they were out of buns but it was surely worth it! Absolutely delicious! The cappuccino I had wasn’t bad either but rather small. However, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The sitting place is nice as well and the location in Kulturhuset is perfect when you are searching a place for a break during your shopping in the city centre.

We had the lunch deal which was quite affordable for Swedish conditions (129SEK for a sandwich crisps coffee/drink). You can get free refills for the coffee, too. The sandwich was delicious as well.

Tucked away in a quiet corner is this little cafe, offering wraps, sandwiches, cakes and other snacks. The tofu banh mi sandwich was the best tofu sandwich I’ve ever tried. Cake was really lovely and soft and crumbly. Friendly staff, highly recommend for a lunch.

Kafé Plattan is located on the ground floor of the massive Kulturhuset. It is tucked away in a corner, is dimly lit and has seating for about 40 people.
Read moreI went there for lunch and had the caesar salad. It was good but, in my opinion, not as good as the one at Mahalo. It was also a bit small and I got hungry quite quickly after.
Nevertheless, I had a good time and I would be happy to go back here.

I appreciate that everything here is vegan and they have a variety of desserts. My partner and I split a sandwich and a few desserts. Everything was very good but not the best food I had in Stockholm. However, I would return to try more of their food if I was in the area again!
