Okay.

The food was good but quite expensive. The staff barely talked to me and seemed bothered by my question about the food. I would rather go for tea or coffee.

Good

Wasn't really hungry when I visited so got a soup and mushroom salad. The mushrooms were super tasty and the portion was very generous. Pumpkin soup was just ok. Husband got mushroom soup which was funny but he enjoyed it, and hachapurito which he also loved (not vegan).

Good food, ok staff

They have some vegan options but not many. Good but not incredible. The place however, is lovely and location is very central. Staff was polite but not necessarily friendly! 😅

Pros: Central, Lovely indoors

Prachtig café, lekker eten

De titel zegt alles: erg leuk interieur en een kleine maar fijne kaart. De soep was heerlijk, mini-khachapuri ook.

Pros: Mooie setting, Fijne keus

Not many vegan dishes, but nice vibe and beautiful decor

The menu was small and there wasn't much to choose from, but they offered to veganize one of the non-vegan dishes for me: fried cauliflower with walnut sauce, served over grits. The grits were kind of flavorless but the cauliflower and sauce were good. Also the homemade lemonade was fantastic (seriously, I've never been so excited about lemonade before).

The place is still worth a visit because the decor is very unique.

Pros: Amazing decor , Friendly service, English speaking , Knowledgeable on what is vegan

Cons: Not many vegan options to choose from , Food a little bland

Great place for a vegan meal

Very cosy little café with vegan and vegetarian options, all is cooked from scratch and very tasty! Portions are generous and the prices are fair. We went twice during our stay and had both time a lovely moment !

Pros: vegan options, Fresh ingredients, Lovely cafe and very nice staff

Okay place

Location and atmosphere are great. The lobio was too watery though, the salad too oily and the bread not fresh at all. The pickles contained jonjoli which I didn't get anywhere else, so that's a plus. Staff is not unfriendly but also not really enthusiastic.

A Gem Next to the Clock Tower

The hummus, lobio, and kharcho were all good, if a bit pricy. The server was not friendly but was able to point out which items were vegan.

Here are pictures of the menu as it was in June 2021.

Great dishes and AMAZING decor

I ate here about three years ago and remember especially how the ceiling stood out to me, quite literally, since it is in bas relief with a mix of Ottoman and Georgian styles. Even though I wanted to stay inside and appreciate the ambiance, the packed restaurant only left me the choice of eating outside, in a sunny day full of plants and a beautiful view to the main street. So I definitely did not miss out on anything. I basically gobbled up the walnut pastes (pkhali?) and remember liking a cream with mushrooms (the vegan kharcho?). I guess I'll just have to go back ASAP to taste everything again.

Pros: Beautiful ambiance, Great taste

Cons: Not cheap, Slow service

Nicely designed Cafe!

It's kind of traditional "art"cafe, especially nice sitting outside. The workers are really nice. My favorite drink here is the homemade lemonade. They have several healthy vegan meal options.

Pros: Unique view outside, classic-fashioned crockery

Cons: The parrots are kept in the cage, no vegan sweets!

Taste ok, price wayyy too high

I ate here twice. First time i had the kharcho which i enjoyed alot but it was not very big so i was still hungry, i ordered the mushroom soup. The bill almost killed me. 26 lari and i left hungry. 2nd time i really wanted to try the mushroom salad. Sadly it didnt come with avocado like advertised and the whole dish was drenched in the sauce which was too salty. Disappointed

Pros: Different options

Cons: Price , Small portions

Inspiring place

A great opportunity to enjoy vegetarian-style Georgian dishes. Kharcho is a must-try! Cozy oriental interior and tables are always in a high demand.

A sweet, authentic cafe

Cafe is really sweet. You can sit outside and taste the smell of the streets.

Staff knows english and they are helpful.

As a vegan, there were not so options for me.

I ordered local georgian mushroom soup which came with lavash and ordered composto made from blackberry. It costed around 12 GEL. They accept credit carts.

Taste is ok.

On the menu, there arw no pictures so it is hard to decide what to eat because i dont know the names.

Pros: It is ok

Cons: On the menu no pictures

Unethical

Great location, sat down outside and it it really lovely. However when you go inside they keep little birds in cages. That was really sad to see. They do serve fish though... The food was ok, the mushroom salad was really nice but too salty (like most Georgian food). The soups are delicious. Not a fan of the grits but my partner liked it.

Pros: Good location , Ok food

Cons: Birds in cages!, Not a lot of vegan options

Really cute place

We had a lunch here. You have to keep in mind that this is a vegetarian ( pescetarian actually) place so not everything is vegan friendly.

We found it a little bit hard choosing a good meal for two
people that was vegan since most of the things contained eggs (falafel, why !?)or cheese.

We had a great mushroom salad that we would def. recommend, it is 15 GEL but def. worth it . Also we had a lentil soup at 6 GEL which was also amazing ( all of their soups were actually vegan).

The problem started at the mains.. there was only 2 vegan options and one "can be made vegan" option, and at 15 GEL for portion we found our fried cauliflower with grits a little bit disappointing.

All in all the place is really cute, the decor is amazing and it is really a cozy place that we would come back to, just not for their main dishes :D

Questionable animal rights

Beautiful cafe but really disappointed to see a live bird in a tiny cage used as decoration in the window. As a cafe which trades on serving lots of veggie foods this is really sad.

Wonderful escape in old town

Perfect location, we stumbled upon this place randomly and fell in love as soon as we walked in - the restaurant is nicely airconditioned so it's a great escape from the afternoon heat!
The menu is wonderful, we are usually aiming for vegan and I'm sure you can request the dishes to be turned vegan but we just went for the vegetarian experience.
We recommend choosing a lot of different stuff from the menu and just share everything amongst you. We usually ordered three "starters" and 1-2 mains and had everything arrive at once. It was so nice and the decor is beautiful and staff is super friendly!

Pros: Friendly staff , Good value, big portions , perfect location and decoration

Cons: Can be difficult to find (very discrete)

A bit of heaven in Tbilisi

Most of the menu is veg, maybe just 4 dishes with fish or shrimp. The atmosphere is absolutely unique, I have never seen a restaurant similar to this one. Food is excellent, would give five stars if I could. Absolutely recomended when you are in Tbilisi:)

Beautiful restaurant

Beautiful interior and interesting menu. Vegetarian options clearly labelled. The mint lemonade was not so good even though it looked beautiful.

Cons: food just ok.
