Nice staff, vegan knowledgeable. They made some sweet chickpea curry for our vegan family. It was tasty and sweet! However you can order spicy as well.I’d give a 5 star review if I could.

We had a great meal here. The staff asked if we were vegetarian or vegan as soon as we walked in. Certified vegan options are marked on the menu with a small white/green logo. Five vegan curries available plus a selection of sides/snacks and roti. Non-vegan options were also delicious. Staff were very friendly and atmosphere was good. Decent price for the quality/quantity of food. Lots of different spice levels available.

I ended up coming here about 5 times in the 3 months I lived in Sapporo. The prices are good, the atmosphere is lovely, and the food is delicious. I’d recommend the lentil daal with the lacha parata.

Jyoti is a great restaurant. I stumbled on this restaurant after searching for vegetarian restaurants in Sapporo. And I have to say my search was well rewarded. I recently moved to Tokyo about 5 months back and I have possibly checked out all Indian Restaurants in Tokyo. And without a doubt I will say Jyoti serves the most authentic Indian cuisine in entire Japan. After my first visit for lunch, I went there again for dinner and the meals on the next 2 days as well. I tried the following items and they were all great - Veg Biryani, Dal Maharani, Channa Masala, Bhatura, Mix Veg, etc. Please do go there if you are in Sapporo and enjoy the cuisine of India.
