Possibly the best vegan Mexican food I have eaten in my life - Edit
Great staff, amazing cocktails and the food was out of this world. Such a big selection of food and the flavours were to die for except no one had to. Lots of seating inside and outside. Would be a regular if I lived in NYC

So Hopeful and then Disappointment - Edit
For whatever reason I never tried this and I really wanted to so on a whim my wife and I went and were pretty disappointed.
Read moreThe space is really nice and inviting
The service was less than stellar with almost no attention paid to us once we placed the initial order.
I ordered a Mole Enchilada that has palm carnita, when it came it had jackfruit and I hate jackfruit. The waitress did apologize and I ordered a Sweet Potato Gordita that was just okay. But two smaller than palmed sized gorditos were $17 and were not much bigger than my wife's tacos that were $9. Nothing about her tacos was that exciting or flavorful as well. But they were edible.
I did not like them enough to go back, but I did eat it so two stars

Strong potential - Edit
Tons of gf options all well labeled. Staff was very friendly and helpful with suggestions and general knowledge of the menu.
Read moreI had the Sikil Pak to start, we thought it was a "on the house" dish because I thought I ordered the ceviche but it was truly my error so no points deducted for that. The dip was good and I did love the plantains. And they were crispy and not greasy at all.
I tried a tequila for the first time and both the server and bar tender really went out of their way to try and guide me to the best experience.
Tacos I had the banana blossom ones which I didn't like at all seasoning wise. And the sweet potato tacos which were much better.
Portions are definitely on the smaller side for price point.
Service after ordering wasn't very good. Server never came back to check in on us or how things were or if we wanted dessert or to refill the water bottle they had on the table.
Pros: All vegan , Knowledgeable staff
Cons: Expensive , Small portions , Not greatest service

Food is tasty portions are small - Edit
The food here is really good and I love that there is so much variety in what you can order. Be aware though that the portions are pretty small and it is pretty expensive to eat here.

Amazing! - Edit
It’s Mexican with a twist. Not your typical vegan Mexican food, full of flavor, fresh and very satisfying. I love the Quesadilla with mushrooms but the flavors are more pesto with great coconut cheese! Charcoal hot sauce, whhhhaaattt?? 🤯 it was creamy and completely different and it left me wanting more. Beet empanada on a base of guacamole that has huge chunks of jalapeños, tomatoes and peas. Yes peas, they add little bites of sweetness. service was friendly and spot on.

Super tasty and authentic - Edit
It was so amazing to be able to eat Mexican street corn for the first time since going vegan. Everything was really tasty and their chorizo is out of this world! I just wish this location had a more full menu but I understand that it's just a smaller booth in a market-style area.
