Pretty tasty - Edit
I like the smaller menu idea but the food is pricey. The buns were really good.

Delicious! Try the regular burger - Edit
I loved eating here. It quelled all my cravings. The indigo burger, fries w/ ranch, and mozz sticks were perfect. The burger was the best, and the fries were perfectly fried and seasoned. I could skip the mozz sticks next time because as they are tasty, I am not the biggest fan in general of them. They do not stretch just a heads up, maybe made of potatoes? Will be back again. Great food!

Yumm! - Edit
We tried the bbq bacon burger and fried chicken sandwich. Both were amazing. The restaurant is easy to find and has a cute little outside seating area. We are excited to know of another vegan place serving tasty burgers. And my son loved the vanilla shake!

Vegan Fast Food - Edit
Treated myself to a belated Veganniversary meal at Indigo Burger last week. I ordered an Indigo Burger, Fries, Beyond Chicken Tenders, and a Chocolate shake.
Read moreBurger: Impossible burger fans will enjoy, I’m just not a huge fan of the patties. Tried the gluten free patty and needed a bit more sauce as it really sucked it up. Will definitely give their other burger a shot next time.
Fries: I need to come back and try the fries again. Something was off taste wise and I’m not sure what it was. My family member described it as a “funnel cake” type taste to the oil. Aside from that they were seasoned well and crispy.
Tenders: Really liked these as it was my first time trying them. Their sauces are so good! The Tamarind BBQ and SweetNSour were my favorite!
Shake: Possibly my favorite part of the meal. At first I wasn’t sure about an Oat milk shake but man this thing was good. Perfect amount of sweetness and not super heavy as other “milk” shake.
Overall it’s great vegan fast food and I will be back to try another shake, the BBQ burger, and the mozzarella sticks!

The BBQ bacon is now my go to when I stop by. Super bummed the Chocolate shake is gone, the chocolate swirl just isn’t the same

Amazing - Edit
I’ve been vegan for 3 years and come from an area that has absolutely no fully vegan restaurants so seeing one is already a sight for my sore eyes.
Read moreI ordered the Cajun chicken sandwich and it was absolutely delicious. Perfectly seasoned, juicy and all the condiments were fresh and crispy. My wife ordered the BBQ Bacon Burger and we split some “loaded fries.” All of our food was nothing short of amazing actually.
They even had oat-milk shakes! I opted for the cookies and cream one which definitely reminded me of the Oreo cookie shakes I would order from Jack in the Box forever ago.
All in all, this was an awesome experience and well worth the above average price as the food is tasty and no animals harmed.
Pros: All vegan, Vegan milkshakes!
Cons: Slightly expensive

Great vegan fast food! - Edit
Awesome burgers (Impossible), chick’n sandwiches, and AMAZING oat milk shakes!! You can’t go wrong with their cookies and cream shake. I wish there were more of these restaurants around the Bay Area.

Very delicious. Basically like a vegan fastfood joint, but the food is amazing. Counter service with a nice outdoor seating area. I highly recommend the chicken sandwiched (I got the chipotle one) and the strawberry cookie milkshake.

I ordered the fried mozzarella sticks, cookies and cream milkshake, and the indigo burger. Everything was absolutely delicious, especially the mozz sticks!! The burger was subpar and wish I would've gotten the chikn sandwich instead. Overall a great experience and I will definitely be back!! 💕🖤🌱

Great fried chick'n and loaded fries!! - Edit
this place is AMAZING!! I am so happy that a fully vegan place finally came to Newark!!
Read moreWe ordered two fried chicken sandwiches (Cajun and Chipotle) and 2 loaded fries on their website for pickup. The chicken sandwiches are incredible! They really tasted like Popeye's or KFC in a sandwich! The loaded fries were also incredible - their house made nacho cheese is really good, and the caramelized onions, Impossible crumbles, and jalapenos made for a flavor explosion!
Highly recommend and definitely coming back!

The indigo burger is a basic beyond burger but the milkshakes and chicken sandwich is the reason for 4 stars. Also very overpriced plus they charge you for fries, no combos Available :/

The burger was amazing. The shake was even better, I got the cookies and cream and was not disappointed! This is a new place so the menu is quite small, hoping they can expand in the future!

Would never guess it's vegan! - Edit
So thankful for Happy Cow for providing great recommendations! If it weren't for Happy Cow, I wouldn't have known there's a new vegan restaurant in Newark. Had an Impossible burger, fries and a pumpkin milkshake. Everything was super delicious! My nephew, who is not vegan, said he would never know his meal was vegan if we didn't tell him. The burgers were very meaty and the shakes were creamy and dairy-like. Wanted to try the chick'n sandwich but they were sold out. Gives us an excuse to go back soon!

Better than in-n-out - Edit
So good. A little pricier than in-n-out but you're getting better burger ingredients, like fresher lettuce and tomatoes, and everything's a bit bigger. The brioche bun option is just ok, next time I'll get the pretzel bun. The cheese is good, doesn't have the starchy taste that some vegan cheese has. Loaded fries were sooo good I think they make their own cheese sauce. Didn't get to try the chicken sandwich as they were out but I'll be back.

There are not so many vegan joints around this area so this gem of a restaurant is a blessing. I got the indigo burger, pumpkin spice milkshake and the loaded fries. I loved everything! Can’t wait to try the chik’n sando next!
