Wow! Excellent selection of vegan Italian food! - Edit
Wow! A huge vegan menu! Super impressive! We had the pesto pizza with vegan cheddar. It was pretty good, but not exceptional. I think the pasta dishes would be great though!

Awful, awful, awful! - Edit
The warning signs were all there as we entered. Mostly empty restaurant but there was a queue on the door. Only one member of staff on at this point and whilst friendly, she was totally stressed. Another staff member joined, but the stressful atmosphere continued. Final straw.....if you want a vegan lasagne which is actually a MEAT lasagne, then this is your place! AVOID! 🤮

Avoid! - Edit
Avoid! Avoid! Avoid! Arrived at just after 15:30 in the afternoon on a Sunday, restaurant was empty but not enough staff to seat guests. Not a good start! Although the server was doing her best, it was not a nice atmosphere with her rushing to serve and keep everyone happy. Was then provided cold bread to start with. We asked for the vegan menu and ordered the vegan lasagne and a pasta norma. When asked if we could add some vegan pepperoni to the pasta to which we were deterred as it involved asking two separate kitchens to coordinate, so we left it. The icing on the cake was that when the food arrived I was served a MEAT lasagne!!!! With cheese!!! The waitress was insistent that she ordered vegan, but we just upped and left!

Amazing amazing AMAZING - Edit
The lasange was crazy good, tofu ricotta was delicious with kale and topped with homemade cashew almond mozzarella. Ask for vegan parmesan after tour dish comes! Vegan pepperoni pizza was amazing with homemade seitan pepperoni and very good eggplant tomato pasta. The hazelnut ice cream affagato was incredibley creamy and tasty, would go back everyday. Haven't been there for breakfast but looks good as they do vegan eggs Benedict.

Good italian - Edit
Ask your waiter for the vegan menu and you will have plenty of options to choose from. The food was good but nothing to die for. However the gelato was amazing and i would fully recommend.

They have a vegan menu! - Edit
They do and it is a complete menu from starters, entrees and deserts. Their food is delicious. Would give it 5 stars if the app would let me rate a non vegan place 5 stars.

Wait. What?! Vegan Italian?? - Edit
Traveling with work, in Toronto this time. Made a critical error...had app set to vegan only and completely missed this place! Yes people. Open your options and let the Italian flow in! I discovered this place while on a food delivery app because it’s too darn cold to get out there! Did a complete double take. Then ignored it because I thought it was an error.
Read moreThen walking back to the hotel today while looking for a falafel place, came across it again. Must be fate I thought and went in. It was early for the dinner crowd and the only reason I got a seat because it’s theatre night tonight and the place filled up with lightening speed. Come From Away is playing literally next door.
They don’t give you the vegan menu unless you ask. So I did. And the choices! Normally in a non-vegan restaurant you get what, one or 2 options? Like a salad or a stir fry right? These guys had appetizers, pastas, pizza, veggie burgers, and desserts...all vegan! I got a Caesar salad, bruschetta and arancini. And it was all delicious! When I go back, I will be sure to make reservations and I’ll get a pasta next time.
You gotta try it. Made me so happy!
Pros: Lots of vegan options , Classy place, Royal Alex and Roy Thomson Hall are right there
Cons: Need a reservation on theatre nights to get in
