We were excited to find this all vegan restaurant (thanks Happy Cow!) I got the crunchy wrap and my husband got a burger. We were both happy with our choices! Great flavors and the service was fantastic too.

Loved this place. Amazing choice, friendly staff and lovely laid back vibe. Served mainly vegan junk food but has some less junky options. Is right next door to a vegan bakery too, which was an added bonus! We left feeling full and satisfied! Highly recommend a visit whilst in San Jose!

Very friendly and polite stuff. Helpful and accommodating. I had vegan hot dog and negra burger?🤣, Awesome salads, potatoess fries with crusty skin. Side dips and mango, cheese cakes! Top quality! Food made with ❤️....and Pura Vida.

Lots to love here and plenty to chew on. While the menu looks very much like your fast food vegan alternative - the sort of fried chick'n and burger thing that I don't love - I got the Huaca Clasica - cheekpeas (sic) with beet - and it was enormously filling and felt super good for me too. Service was absolutely with a smile, the layout is great and I'm sure it jumps at night... music was a little loud for early evening but that may just be my sensitive hearing! There is a lot of "junk" stuff on the menu so it's really up to the customer whether they're tempted by it or want to seek out the better stuff. Also: I could not resist stopping in next door (the two are affiliated) to the patisseries for a gf vegan (everything is vegan) all-cashew cashew cheese cake to die for. Should have saved for breakfast but that was my problem, not yours!

Great option for the whole family! - Edit
“Yum, Yum, delicious” as my step son said. We had the special “arroz no pollo”, burgers, fries, patacones, shakes, juices and coffee. Truly a little bit of everything. We found the restaurant last minute on happy cow and we’re not disappointed. We came as a family of 5 with only 2 vegans in the group and everyone was happy with their order. The vibe was great and the staff was friendly and attentive. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area.

During my holiday in Costa Rica me and my friend went to Huacamole Vegan Food several times for meals. Friendly service and the food was amazing. We enjoyed the fresh juices along with comfort foods such as burgers and pizza. Creative menu and worth supporting!

Fake Garbage, Fake Vegans - Edit
Exorbitantly expensive. Terrible, factory processed frozen box, barcode food, heavy on oil, fat, salt and sugar. Paid well over California prices for a fast-food junk meal that refused to stay in my system for more than thirty minutes. Suspiciously empty, lots of inattentive staff and garbage beyond meat ingredients or possible simple lack of hygiene or cares to give in the kitchen meant instant stomach cramps afterwards. No staff seemed like vegans and it reflected in the food and service. QR menus. Terrible try-hard, fake hipster vibe, zero charm. I can only imagine Ticos wondering how stupid vegans gotta be to buy this awful trash. Predominate flavor was salt. Predominate energy was exploitation.
Read moreThe burger instantly tasted of frozen beyond meat (gnarly) with other synthetic glutamic acids and the sunday dessert thing I ordered tasted like raw flour with sugar syrup in multiple layers of nasty. Sort of like eating through crushed up antacid and icy cough syrup. No way this place is run by vegans. Horrible experience, which was a total downer as it looked so great on the small screen. Sorry I supported them.

I completely agree with your assessment of Huacamole sodita. I also had a disappointing experience at the restaurant. The food was indeed overpriced and tasted like factory-processed, frozen meals loaded with excessive amounts of oil, fat, salt, and sugar. I, too, experienced stomach discomfort and suspect poor hygiene or negligence in the kitchen. The staff seemed inattentive and uninterested, lacking the passion or knowledge typically associated with vegan cuisine. The flavors were dominated by salt. Your description of the burger and the dessert matches my experience as well, with synthetic and unpleasant tastes. It's unfortunate that the restaurant did not live up to its initial appeal. I also regret supporting them due to the subpar quality and exorbitant prices.

Great Vegan Food with fun atmosphere - Edit
Went here with my non vegan family on vacation and we loved it! We each ordered something different and all shared. Some of my favorites were the patacones, Pantera Rosa beet burger, and the chicken burger. Also, the sauce that came on the side to dip the fries and yucca in was absolutely phenomenal. A few items we weren't huge fans of were the oyster pops, and the pizza. The oyster pops were nice and crispy but the breading to mushroom ratio was a bit off. The pizza I think was okay, had a fresh taste but was a bit bland in my opinion. Even with the items we weren't huge fans of, we still devoured almost everything and left full and satisfied! I loved being able to try a little bit of everything on the table! I hope next time to try some of their desserts, as they looked super yummy too! Overall we had a wonderful experience here and would definitely go back again!

First of all the food was very tasty and they have both healthy and greasy stuff 🤤 the staff was friendly (all though definitely not i a hurry 😉). *Edith 2nd time I was there was definitely much better ☺️ had some more amazing food and I really wanted to try out more options but I was too full to even finish what I ordered so have the leftovers as take away, it was still great cold 😋
