Serves meat, vegan options available. One of a few locations of this breakfast and lunch place, but this is the only one that has a separate "healthy" menu that offers vegan & gluten-free choices, (the other location on the same street has no vegan options). Vegan include tacos, silver dollar blueberry pancakes, quinoa. Open Mon-Sun 7:00am-1:00pm.

Great Vegan Options - Edit
While the vegan offerings are not expansive in comparison to those in more urban areas, it’s well rounded and has a bit of everything. After this most recent visit to the area (28 December 2017), they offered a black bean soup, chipotle chikn club, fried chikn finger sandwich, banana or regular pancakes, a breakfast sandwich with maple soysage, and i believe a bean burger and maybe a salad as well. The Beyond Burger was available too! They also have vanilla soy milk available for coffee, however, they are not able to do specialty espresso drinks with soy because they only have a Nespresso machine.
Read moreThe chipotle chikn club comes on delicious Dave’s Killer White Bread with chipotle vegenaise, avocado, chikn (gardein I’m guessing), and tomato and a free side. The banana silver dollar vegan pancakes are also good and come with real maple syrup, however they are almost twice the price of the non vegan banana pancakes which is disappointing when you consider how cheap pancakes are to make. All in all, I’m very happy this place exists as it’s one of the very few vegan friendly places in the area.

Awesome vegan breakfast - Edit
Arrived during rush hour about 1.5 hours before they closed but we were seated promptly. Great, full menu with plenty of vegan and some gluten free options. I had the farmhouse bowl and while the tofu scramble was a little under seasoned for my personal preference, everything else was exceptional, especially the avocado which in most restaurants is usually under ripe. Server was nice and knowledgeable. Prices were reasonable and really less than what I would have expected compared to other restaurants that have resorted to pandemic prices. Can’t wait to go back when I return to the beach!

Island in an Ocean - Edit
While the food was Vegan the cost is expensive. Don’t understand why there is an up charge for tofu scramble when price already includes eggs. Don’t get it. Stay away from the American Breakfast choices and go with something like Farmhouse which is pictured here in the reviews. I’m used to NMB and Calabash but getting vegan food there is very difficult.

So nice we ate there twice! - Edit
We visited Myrtle Beach, SC for our first post-pandemic vacation and after being fully vaxed, ready to try all the local vegan food during our 5 day trip! Looked around on Happy Cow as well as asked for places to check out on the vegan food travel subreddit and many MANY people suggested Hot Stacks! So it was pretty much number one on our list! And it did NOT disappoint !!
Read moreThe first day we visited I got the vegan French Toast and my GODS, it was AMAZING! I have eyes that are bigger than my stomach and ended up ALSO ordering their house made vegan sausage and hashbrowns! I had to ask my partner and server if they were SURE this was the vegan patty and they assured me it most definitely was! Hot Stacks just mimicked that flavor and texture profile PERFECTLY! It was super delicious! Even the hashbrowns were perfectly golden brown with great seasoning!
Our second visit I wanted something less gluten heavy and also a smaller portion(even though it was STILL large lol) so I went with their All American Breakfast option where you could get the vegan sausage and then instead of the eggs you get their tofu scramble and then 2 choice sides which I got the soy yogurt with blueberries and hashbrowns(gotta love those hashies!)!! It was SO good !! That tofu scramble was to die for! I loved it so much with all the green peppers and onions! It was a ‘smaller’ portion but it was still huge with all the sides too! I left full and happy again!
One of our days we visited a different place for brekkie and we ended up wishing we had just went back to Hot Stacks! Told my partner next time we come back let’s just eat there each morning! They certainly have enough different vegan dishes to do so! Lol
Definitely check this place out if you’re a brekkie person and in the area ❤️🌱
Pros: Lots of vegan options!, TASTY food!, /BIG/ portions!! Literally enough to share!

Busy Brunch, worth the wait - Edit
I arrived at 10:30 on a Saturday, but only waited about 15 minutes for my table.
Read moreI ordered the Just Ranchero Omelet with an Orange Juice, it was quite delicious, the Chipotle sauce on the omelet gives just the right kick with the avocado and the grits were seasoned perfectly as well.
Overall the food was good, but service was lacking a bit. Once my order was delivered I never saw the waitress again and would have loved more water or a to-go box.
The parking lot was ample enough for my giant truck, which was a big bonus too!
Pros: Speedy, Location
Cons: Attentiveness of server

Awesome restaurant with delicious vegan options! - Edit
The menu has a ton of great options for both vegans and non-vegans. I ordered the vegan breakfast sushi and another member of my party ordered the vegan french toast. We split the plates and both were out of this world amazing (as well as very filling). The service was also excellent and our waitress was very helpful when helping us pick out what to eat. I highly recommend! The only downside was that they only offered soy and almond milk for coffee.

Best vegan breakfast in Myrtle Beach - Edit
Lots of vegan options. French toast was delicious, tofu scramble was excellent, hash browns and soysage were ok. Grits were tasteless. Fairly quick. We ordered takeout due to lack of outdoor seating, but the restaurant seemed clean and pleasant.

Get the Just Ranchero - Edit
Got the just egg omelette with black beans inside topped with a really good chipotle veganese. I skipped out on the vegan waffles bc they looked a little boring. The chipotle grits that came with the Just Ranchero were pretty bland but wow that omelette was fantastic.

Great waffles! - Edit
My food was good. I personally didn’t care for the flavor of the vegan sausage patty but I was really happy with the waffles I got. They did however try to serve someone at my table a real egg omelet saying it was “just egg”. The two of us are very familiar with the appearance and smell of just egg and that definitely was not it. Our server was super nice though but lacked in knowledge about vegan menu items (the omelet)

Served me eggs and tried to convince me it was JustEgg - Edit
They did have a few vegan options and the menu is clearly labeled but they definitely served me real eggs and when I asked the waitress to make sure she said “no that just egg” however there was egg whites, and just egg is definitely not white. Didn’t offer to remake it or take it off the bill as I was not going to eat it. I absolutely hate complaining but after reading all the good reviews on here I was so excited and was sorely let down. Hopefully it was just a bad day for them.

It’s hard to find good vegan options here in BBQ, Burgers, and all the crab you can eat buffets.

I love this place. There are numerous vegan options. Every week, they even do a vegan special. Sometimes it's pierogi, sometimes it's burgers, and mostly it's always something out of the ordinary. It's a great treat to taste oldies or new things the vegan way.
