Spectacular! - Edit
Staff was really lovely and made us very welcome and comfortable. Ordered the fully vegan and gluten free breakfast, my hubby the tofu burger. Also green smoothie and a Karma Cola. For dessert, the Ferrero pie. Everything was soooo tasty!!! Highly recommended!!! It is in a hidden spot, but so cool.

I’ve been to Holy Cow quite a few times, and all their food (Burgers, Salads, Cakes) are a consistent treat. Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff.

Seasonal burgers and great cakes! - Edit
Holy Cow has a wonderful changing selection of seasonal burgers, with highlights including the tempeh BLT and the vietnamese tofu burger. It's super close to the bus station, so easy for travellers to pop into. Everything is handmade from scratch and tastes delicious. The garlic mayo in particular is a favourite!

Tasty, cosy vegan cafe! - Edit
Lovely cosy feel, makes you feel separate from hustle and bustle of the city. Only tried the vegan cakes but they were amazing, nice and sweet with a good texture.

Best carrot fish sandwich EVER! - Edit
I had the carrot vox sandwich and it was delicious. I’ve also had the Reuben before (both v yum!) The cream cheese was so so tasty and the carrot was super fishy and yum. The bread was also lovely. Very yummy!! Highly recommends

Tasty food but not loads of options - Edit
Food we ordered was tasty but wasn’t a huge deal of options - open sandwiches, soup, salad or burger. Service was lovely and attentive and vibe inside was nice but would’ve liked perhaps another option or two!

Holy Cow - this place is delicious! - Edit
We sat outside in courtyard on a sunny evening - lovely setting. Our group of three had the portobello mushroom burger, Vietnamese tofu burger and Quarter pounder with cheese. All delicious and the chips in their skins were out of this world. No alcohol on the menu when we visited - I had the caramel Frappuccino - wow! 😍 Definitely recommended.

Really good sandwiches - Edit
Had a Ruben and asked for cheesey chips. They sort of chopped up some violife slices which was a bit weird, expected them to put under the grill maybe? Otherwise really good

Amazing sandwiches - Edit
We are not too fan of burgers. Thankfully this place offers amazing vegan sandwiches too! We went for the CBLT and the ‘vegan salmon’ (carrot) one. If you are a fan of fish but your vegan values are more important than that… this will be a good alternative to being reminded of the ‘taste of sea’ in q cruelty free way. You are welcome!

So much potential - Edit
Great comfort food.
Read moreLoads of tables and the atmosphere encouraged you to stay a while, read a book, have more tea.
Excellent serving of tea! Loved the size of tea pot - makes it worth the money.
Burger was sublime, chips devine and the homemade garlic mayo was delicious!
I don't recommend sitting on the window seat as the height difference of the seat and table might give you back pain if you're tall like me.
More music/atmospher would add a lot to this place. Maybe even a splash of colour on the walls.
Pros: Good food, Garden, Size of tea pot

Amazing sandwich - Edit
Had the Reuben sandwich and omg- so juicy and delicious, the sauce to die for. Best sandwich in town by a country mile. Returned two days is a row and had to wait both times because the place is so popular. This is a small place, not a hugely professional outlet but the team are friendly, proactive and the food is crazy good.
