Mixed Feelings - Edit
We were excited to try this spot and made the drive from Mid beach. The menu had a lot of great option. We went for the impossible Burger and Buddha Bowl. The burger was great. The Buddha bowl was mediocre. The tofu was too salty. Portions were very generous. The servers while very friendly were wrapped up in each other and not concerned with the tables.

What happened to the service? - Edit
I have eaten at both locations and recommended to many friends. Four of us went tonite for dinner. Although there were no other diners for table service the entire two hours we were there, there was something off about the service. Although 3 meals were served, I was served the wrong dish and my dinner arrived well after my friends finished their meals. I assume the server realized how hungry I was when they finally brought out the side salad. Sometime later my burger arrived. We were never asked if we wanted anything else (there IS a dessert menu) and definitely not offered anything that might try to make up for the missing meal. I’ve gotten more effort from flight attendants on overseas flights where they don’t seem to have the vegan meal I ordered! I hope this was an off night and not a trend.

We've been to the North Miami Beach and Hallandale Beach locations. The salad and acai bowl was tasty and fresh. There was a discrepancy between both locations on what can be made without onion and garlic though. Staff was friendly.

Read moreHay lugares veganos mas sencillos con platos espectaculares. Este es uno de los lugares donde vas por primera vez a conocer pero jamás regresas. Lástima porque el lugar está bien ubicado pero lo que vende y enamora es la calidad de los alimentos no el lugar como tal.
Las críticas leídas para este lugar en particular me hace ver y entender que la gente no sabe distinguir lo realmente rico de algo que no tiene sabor alguno. Por eso es que dicen que lo vegano es de mal sabor e incipido. Es no saber cocinar lo que causa este comentario.
Aquí lo que deben hacer es preocuparse por elevar el sabor y la calidad de la presentación. Todo se puede mejorar SIEMPRE !

Great Empanada; Cheese Sauce Not So Great - Edit
The Impossible empanada was excellent. The pastry was perfect and the filling was meaty and juicy. Not a fan of the loaded potatoes, though. They were large slices/wedges of potato and kind of a weird texture. They could have used some ranch or something (should have order the tzatziki or something to go with). I ordered through Uber Eats so maybe the potatoes’ texture would have been better when fresh? Either way I also wasn’t a fan of the cashew cheese sauce that comes on the loaded potatoes and on the Southwest Black Bean Burger. It was very turmeric-heavy and just didn’t have much flavor other than that one note. Black bean patty was good, but some avocado or salsa on the burger would have made it more “southwest.” I would be willing to go back and try some other dishes, though, since the empanada was so good.

The food was amazing here! Delicious and real! From the real orange juice to the delicious mouthwatering burgers to the incredible tasty potatoes! Great brunch spot! It was worth the drive. Side note watch out for the lizards running around outside.

I got the meatball sub which was amazing and worth repeating easily! The yucca bites were great too. Service was fantastic. The jerk tempeh sandwich was a bit dry but still great with added sauce, the Mac was decent, and the cheesecake was pretty good! It tasted a lot like berry, but not so much like cheesecake. Overall a great experience and a cute restaurant!

The service was amazing. The food though was kind of bland compared to other vegan restaurants in the Miami area. There was nothing wrong with the food, just not food I would want to pay a premium to eat. This is stuff I would make at home, nothing special, just presented nicely on a plate.

I've been coming to Holi Vegan Kitchen regularly for years and they are consistently great. The food is delicious. You get large portions. The service is also excellent. They've added some additional outdoor dining, which I'm always looking for.

Great after Oleta! - Edit
We ordered the meatball sub and mushroom avocado sandwich, and the yucca bites after a morning of kayaking. Everything was delicious and filling. The yucca bites came with a tangy Smokey sauce that elevated everything, and the roast potatoes were pillowy and crispy on the outside. They have some outdoor seating. #Veganuary

Read moreThe experience has been positive overall. We really liked the menu, they have lots of options of any kind which is amazing. We had nachos for a starter and then two wraps and everything was good.
The customer service was great too. Quick, friendly and efficient.
We will certainly go back to Holi Vegan Kitchen in the future and we would highly recommend it.

See my review on the Biscayne Blvd location to see where this sentiment began. The initial walk in wasn’t smooth. I guess I was supposed to know to take my seat even though it was my first time (at this location). From there the server was sweet and helpful, no complaints. I ordered the loaded potatoes, spicy Crunchwrap, and had their #4 juice (beet, strawberry, ginger, etc). The loaded potatoes would’ve been better with ketchup. The cheese sauce was tasteless and did not taste better with the green onions. They also gave me a spinach and cheese empanada after sending back the potatoes. That too was horrible and sent back. The spinach was either way over cooked or simply canned spinach. None of it tasted fresh. The Crunchwrap was very bland and disappointing. I intentionally avoid items with prepackaged ingredients (like impossible/beyond meat/sausage etc), hoping to get an honest take on THEIR food. The Crunchwrap had very very little of their house made sausage (literally half a slice of sausage per square inch of the wrap) and half tofu scramble/half plain white rice as the base. The guac on the side made it possible to continue eating. Seriously, for a place of this caliber/appearance and multiple locations you’d think they would have decent food at best and/or a competent chef to at least make things at the very least good. For that reason I’m giving them 2 stars. Clearly, the capital is there but the effort is minimal. I can’t believe a place like this survived covid….actually I do and I know how…..

We barely go out these days but still like to come to this place when we have a big job and are too lazy, tired or busy to cook. People are friendly, the place is clean and has lots of space not to feel crowded, servers are not overly intrusive- just the right amount of attention to all our needs (but not coming every 5 seconds asking if everything is ok like in some other places). Food is filling and plentiful, maybe too cheesy for some tastes but i like vegan cheeses and don’t mind it. Very nice salsa and guac on the side!

The slowest ever. - Edit
DO NOT order take out in house. We sat there for an hour waiting in our food while in house guests and online orders, even other togo orders, were served before us. Granted, we did order a lot of food, but there was no apology for the wait or even an estimated wait time given to us. We also had to sit outside on the ground since they had a sign that said togo orders could not sit at open tables to wait. Finally got our food and it’s good but definitely wasn’t worth almost making us late to another commitment because we wasted so much time waiting.

There were so many options that all sounded so good. We tried burgers, wrap, salad, juice & smoothies all of which were really good. The ingredients were fresh. Only my cesar salad was too salty for my taste and impossible le burger a tad tasteless. Service was good, fast, polite. We sat outside and place was dog friendly.
