Ich liebe das Hokuspokus. Die veganen Kuchen sind (bis auf Karotte) bis jetzt meist sehr trocken gewesen, die Suppen erst nach dem Nachsalzen super lecker, und auch der Service ist eher auf der langsamen Seite. Wenn man allerdings mit Zeit und Verständnis hingeht ein wirklich toller Vibe. Diese kleinen Details überall von der wunderschönen Einrichtung. Und von Tees haben sie wirklich Ahnung!

"Veganes" Frühstück mit Kuhmilchbutter - Edit
Es gibt viele Sachen in einer veganen Variante, die allerdings extra kostet. Das "vegane" Frühstück wurde erst mit Kuhmilchbutter serviert. Die wurde auf Nachfrage als Kuhmilchbutter bestätigt und nochmal ausgetauscht. Danach sah sie noch genauso aus. Ich habe dann nichts mehr davon gegessen. Wir haben außerdem zuerst einen Kaffee statt Kakao bekommen.

We came to this pub because we wanted to try some Austrian food and were lured in by the blackboard with a bunch of vegan options on display in the window.
Read moreOnce we got inside it was a bit disappointing to learn that they were out of most of their vegan options, so we settled for a vegetable stroodle each. They were nice and hearty but lacked a bit of flavour, so we compensated with the oil and salt left on the table. It ended up being satisfying.
We also got a couple of vegan carrot cakes each which were delicious and some beer to wash it all down.

Bin hier schon öfter gewesen, immer eine vegane tagessuppe, oft frisch gemachte Kuchen (beim letzten Besuch gabs noch warmen veganen Karotten Kuchen) und die Preise sind billig, aber das Essen sehr gut!

The ambiance in the backyard is nice but that is about it with this place. Horrible food… we had the vegan veggie Strudel and a non vegan dish and both was tasteless. The Strudel was reheated, soggy and tasted like nothing. Not worth it, better eat elsewhere!

The atmosphere was really nice, and the place looks very cozy. We ordered the vegan vegtablestrudle (vegan) and the vegtablequiche (vegetarian) and both were tasty. The coffee was good and they had soymilk, we also order a carrot cake wich was a little on the dry side, bit still tasty.

The day we went, there was a chalk board outside posting 3 vegan meals. When we went in, we were told they had no cook, so only offering toast and quiche. They did have a vegan carrot cake, but when we went back later for dessert, it was gone.

Wir sind zufällig vorbei gekommen und waren eigentlich noch satt von unserem Mittagessen. Entsprechend fragten wir die super sympathische Dame, ob sie veganen Kuchen hat und uns diesen zum Mitnehmen einpacken könnte. Gab es, zwei Sorten: Karotten-Kuchen und einen Rohkost-Kokos-Schoko-Ball. Die freundliche Dame packte uns alles ein und wir konnten die Leckereien dann gemütlich Zuhause verspeisen. In dem netten Cafe/Pub gibt es auch jeden Tag veganes Mittagessen. Das probieren wir dann das nächste Mal :)

Favourite place in town - Edit
The Hokuspokus is my favourite café in Innsbruck. They always offer delicious, high quality vegan options for little money (compared to other places in town). The staff is usually very friendly- sometimes you may have to wait a little bit because they're always working on their own. I have lunch there at least once a week and always enjoyed it in the past three years. Especially their daily soups are great and healthy. They have ever changing daily options... curries, pasta, ... and the desserts (especially the coconut chocolate balls) are from heaven! Plus- I love their decaf!!😄they never charged me extra for anything vegan but the plant based milk in my coffee!

It's a nice space. Dark and cozy. During the day the music isn't too loud, though it can be later on. Seating outside too, but very smokey out there. The main problem is they charge extra for all their vegan options they provide.

They have a few vegan options. We had vegetable pie with cheese, broccoli soup, chocolate milkshake with almond milk and carrot cake. Everything was vegan. Most amazing was vegan cheese on the pie and the taste was just mind blowing.

Been there a few times and it's always a pleasure. The cakes are really yummy, and I personally love the atmosphere, too. Vegan options (breakfast/lunch) are clearly labelled on the menu, and you can ask for soy or oat milk. The prices are reasonable, but they don’t accept credit cards, which is rather unusual in Innsbruck.
