The vegan fast food - Edit
This is the first style of ‘fast food’ I’ve had that’s all vegan, and I love it! The staff is great, and quick. The menu is intoxicating with so many delicious treats to choose from. I ended up getting the buffalo chick’n sandwich with sweet potato fries. NO JOKE- best I’ve had, sandwich and fries. The sandwich was crunchy on the outside, and tender inside. The sweet potato fries were the best I’ve had- and I’ve had a lot of sweet potato fries. They come with side dips to choose from, I highly recommend the black bean dip (sauce). I can’t wait to go back!

Boyfriend and I are living in DC for the next few months and decided to come try HipCityVeg. We got the crispy ranch chik’n sandwich, philly cheesesteak and an order of sweet potatoes fries with sriracha aioli. Both sandwiches were really really good - would highly recommend either! And sweet potato fries really hit the spot as well. Slightly crispy and salty, paired with the little bit of spice from the aioli.
Read moreOnly negative from here is very very little seating, so come either expecting not to sit and you might be surprised or take it to go! Off peak hours might be easier as well.

Omgoodness we knew we’d be in DC for just a couple hours and it took me a while to pick a vegan place to eat, then when we got here it took me a bit to order so my wife and I shared the ranch chicken sandwich and the philly and I was the happiest girl ever! I loved the crisp of the “chicken” and how big the philly was! We left very satisfied and can’t wait to go back

I traveled about 40 minutes to this restaurant. I adored everything I ate. I went near closing time so they were out of my first menu choices but that’s my fault, I’d definitely go again though
