Too expensive and not so great food

$19 drinks, $33 main course, 20% tip automatically added (not mentioned anywhere on the menu) and their online portal asks for an extra tip.

Overall, our $19 drink was okay (not worth $19). The $16 salad was bad. The $14 shawarma was okay. We paid $64 for a meal to go back home hungry!

Nice atmosphere & location. Staff were non-existent. We were seated in a full service space of their restaurant where we ended up ordering online after waiting for 30 mins.

I would recommend checking out other affordable plant based restaurants nearby like Trio Plant Based or Vegan East for better tasting and affordable options.

We apologize for the service you received during our delicate soft open phase. As we train BOH and FOH staff we are fine tuning operations. We hope you will try us again when we officially open the week of July 17th for our grand opening week!

Wish I could rate 0 stars

I didn’t even realize you’re forced to give two stars “to support vegan businesses”, which is honestly stupid.
This place is super expensive, with tiny portions of OK but mediocre food. My friend and I each got a non-alco drink; we both thought they were house made based on the menu, but they turned out to be cans you can buy at any grocery store for $3 (instead of the $11-12 we paid). We each picked a small plate ($13-14). I got the Mac and cheese egg roll and my friend got the quesadilla. They both tasted fine, but were super small and bland. The “sour cream” was clearly plain coconut cream or mayyyybe plain coconut yogurt, which was gross and weird. The guac and salsa were good. The “nacho cheese” was ice-cold and tasted like buffalo hummus.
When I went to pay the bill, the online tab automatically wanted me to add a 20% tip on top of a mandatory 20% service charge, which would have brought our total (for 2 small canned beverages and 2 snack-size appetizers) to over $70.
Also, despite the cute/trendy decor the floor has a gross, filthy industrial cement vibe.
I absolutely do not recommend anyone support this place, vegan or not.

Pros: It’s vegan, Cute lighting and decor, Uhhhh there’s a porch

Cons: Shockingly expensive, Bland boring menu, tiny portions, Creepy crystal healing woo woo pricing

Forgot to mention that the glassware all sucks (it’s literally candleholders) and bizarre to drink out of. At least they had normal plates and silverware.

Everything is organic. We don’t sell any cans that can be purchased for $3 anywhere. Quesadilla is $11 and comes with local hazelnut cheese, house made organic guacamole, organic heirloom salsa, organic coconut sour cream (it is fermented coconut yes and delightful) and the the hazelnut cheese is a raw organic product for highest nutrient uptake. We focus on plant focused organic healthy foods that can still taste like comfort foods. There are plenty of cheap fast food places out there that are cheap due to underpaid workers, gmo filled ingredients, highly processed ingredients, underpaid farmers, etc. but we choose to pay people fairly and get quality ingredients which is strange in the restaurant world but we stand tall next to it!

Also non of our glassware is candles? It’s vintage or bought from bar glass makers

literally none of that changes the fact that the food was mid, super expensive, and served in and on weird and unpleasant glassware. the cans of Parch and the little bottles of nonalco negroni (I forget the brand) are very literally available at local co-ops for
