The food is [censored] gorgeous but the vibes aren't for everyone - Edit
I had the vegan wings, and omg, it was like Jesus had shat it out himself, seriously to die for. However, I'm pretty introverted and clubs are 100% not my scene so the music constantly pounding and all the people being so close together, was just not for me. Although this isn't really the restaurants fault as they share the space with others, its probably best for me to get takeout next time.

Excellent Philly Cheesesteak Fries - Edit
We had the loaded Philly Cheesesteak fries with seitan beef and cashew cheese. It was ridiculously good. It seemed reasonably priced to me. I definitely plan to go back and try some of the other things on their menu.

Herbivorous is the reason why I visit Hatch! Consistently delicious food and excellent GF options. The owners/staff are lovely people and always make you feel looked after. It’s always such a wonderful experience visiting Hatch/Herbivorous and has become the ‘place’ for me and one of my best friends to go out for food/drinks.

So far, I’ve had the bhaji wrap - it was great - tasty flavours and crispy bhaji balls; and the hoisin “duck” wrap - sweetish sauce with seitan chunks.

A grilled beef style patty marinated in teriyaki sauce topped with a vegan pepper jack cheese, pineapple, bacon and a spicy cilantro (coriander) mayo.
The burger was delicious and really enjoyed it thoroughly. My only peeve is if they were more generous with the spicy fries it would been perfect and filled me up.
All in all nice clean food in recyclable packaging
Pros: Burger textures and flavours were good , The vegan pepper jack cheese was very nice , The seitan bacon was a good addition to the burger
Cons: Not enough spicy fires was a very small portion, Burger could be a little larger

I ended up here for lunch when visiting Manchester and I’m so glad I did. I had the Hoisin Duck Wrap and it was absolutely delicious and full of flavour. The owners are lovely and up for a chat and there are a good number of options on their menu. I definitely recommend!

Went here the other day for some planet friendly food. Had the double (triple?) cooked fries and the duck wrap. The duck wrap was sensational, like an absolute party in my mouth. I was actually concerned that it was real duck and I had been part of a sick joke. It was not! Also great servers - very attractive (hope my wife doesn't read this). Over and out, Captain Vegetables.

the absolute BEST duck wrap I've ever tried in my 4 years as a vegan. The Sloppy Jack special (sloppy joe type sandwich with duck) is also INCREDIBLE, so full of flavour. The only thing better than the food is the service - the girls running the stall are super friendly and helpful. 10/10, the only reason I've been coming to Hatch every week x x

I'm really trying to cut down on my meat intake but will admit when I am out and about I normally gravitate to meat however not when I'm around Herbivorous! I'm a regularly found their eating the 'duck' wrap which is my favourite but can also highly recommend the pulled jackfruit too but to be fair I haven't had one bad thing from them! The location at hatch is great and all the staff are lovely!

Read moreHaving them at home makes my life much easier as sometimes going out for food with friends can be a little tricky, but Herbivorous at Hatch makes it easy for us all to find something we like to eat!
So many of my non-vegan friends have tried the “duck” wrap and have been blown away by how similar it tastes, it’s my personal favourite too.
Pros: A great menu., A great location., Super friendly staff.
Cons: Food is so good it sells out fast! (Good thing!)
