Terrible service ! - Edit
You don’t know how much I REALLY REALLY wanted to like this store ! When I heard about a vegan store in Montreal I was so excited about shopping there one day ! I looked at articles, pictures on facebook, reviews. There was a few bad reviews from certain customers finding the service to be cold, but despite that I still decided to make my own opinion. There’s always going to be some bad reviews made by some people right ? I went there on a rainy thanksgiving day (it was open) and let me tell you...these comments about cold atmosphere sadly are true especially from one employee in particular who gave me weird discriminating looks when I was checking what’s there and when I was paying my stuff he didn’t seem very friendly even while talking like he couldn’t hide well that he wasn’t feeling me. The interactions with some other workers were ok/mediocre. Was it because I brought my Marc Jacobs leather Bag that I received as a gift and still use it even when I went vegan because I find it’s unnecessary to throw it away ? My style ? That I’m a minority ?... Anyway that attitude is inexcusable and isn’t helping veganism ! It's not the only bad experience that I had... When a family member was shopping and passed the phone to talk to them because they didn't know the products they had a rude tone. They should be grateful that some clients who don’t even live near the area come to support them. You can have posts on facebook about how homophobia is not tolerated in your store but I’m not buying this virtuous image if you can’t be a bit nice and act decent with your customers. I wish them to take in consideration the criticism and still want them to succeed because of veganism, but I don’t think it’s worth for me to come back. I don’t live near the store to risk having such a bad experience again.

Ordered from her for the first time the other day, I have been to the actual store before to get groceries but didn't try their in house food until the other day. First of all very good selection on products, lots of cool hard to get things! As for the food I ordered I got the Double Bacon Cheeseburger and the regular Mac & Cheese, the burger was amazing, super good, but the Mac & Cheese was pretty bland, it had almost no flavour. I will still be ordering from here again, and I'm excited to try their other menu items, I will just be skipping the Mac & cheese from now on.

Si vous cherchez des options véganes faciles à cuisiner, c'est la place où aller, vraiment ils ont absolument de tout. En tant que végane, j'adore vraiment cet endroit. Par contre étant aussi quelqu'un qui veut limiter sa quantité de déchets je suis déçu par le manque d'options non emballées. J'y irais définitivement plus souvent si ils avaient des fruits et légumes frais et du vrac, je comprends que c'est un tout petit magasin mais ça peut être quelque chose à développer dans le futur je pense.

From cheeses to vegan meats Herbivores has you covered. They sell Beyond Meat burger patties and sausages in bulk. And if you need comfort food this is the place to go. I’ve tried their Portuguese poutine, the General Tao poutine, & the Big Jack burger.

The hot food at this place is what you’d expect for dirty vegan food — poutine, vegan mac, burgers. We visited twice and really enjoyed our meals. The grocery selection is worth checking out. Lots of local vegan products to try. The people working and eating there were friendly and warm. A true community feel.

It's a nice little vegan épicerie, with good prices on the standard items, but what sets it apart are it's homemade vegan delicacies. Their vegan tzatziki is out of this world. They promise more to come, and I'm eager to try them out. They have a very attractive breakfast menu that I haven't tried yet but look forward to. Nice, low-key premises and super friendly and helpful proprietor. Do go check them out!

Straight forward unpretentious food and everything 100% vegan... Unlike other people here, I liked the service, people were friendly and helpful, also super patient because I took forever to decide! We had a burger with bacon and a chicken Portuguese... So... Good!!!!! It was extremely nice to be able to buy anything there without having to check labels :)
