Greath lunch spot

I had a delicious and affordable lunch consisting of a mixed bowl of hot food and salad. They also have cocowhip icecream! Lots of vegan options. It's a nice spot to eat with seating indoors and outdoors.

Vegan Friendly

Really great except when double checking what deserts were vegan lots of the ones that had vegan written on the tag weren't actually vegan and someone had mislabeled them, they realised their mistake but I went back a week later try and they still hadn't changed to labels meaning anyone vegan buying the deserts (and maybe the hot food too who knows?) may be eating animal products unknowingly and after a week I'd have assumed they would care enough to change the labels (can't believe it wasn't the second they noticed considering allergies and that this is people's core ethics)

Apart from that the food is delicious and the coffee is good.

Pros: lots of vegan products , delicious fresh food

Cons: poor hospitality , uneasy about if products are vegan

Best of the Sutherland Shire

My local haunt. Delicious fresh vegan food, great cafe vibe, and cakes!!! The koftas, curries and sweet potato salad are always a hit for me.

Genuinely friendly service and good healthy food!

We visited this cafe for a late lunch today and we were glad we did. The young woman who served us was genuine and helpful, the food was interesting and yummy, and the coffee was good.

There are various options for the amount of food you want from the bain-marie set up. Small plate means you get three choices, medium plate means you get four choices and big plate five choices etc. There are warm curries and other dishes and interesting salads to choose from. I chose the eggplant curry, the chick pea curry, the quinoa salad and the broccolini salad. They were all good.

This cafe also stocks the wonderful Addiction Food brand of brownies and other yummy sweet things, plus a good range of less commonly available soft drinks. The cafe itself was clean and felt like a nice place to be.

Pros: Friendly staff, Good food that left us feeling good, Good location

Wholesome & easy.

Visited in March 2013. It's a lovely light filled cafe with plenty of table space. A friend & I both chose a selection from the buffet, about $9 for three choices. The other reviews go into menu details so I won't repeat! I did think that actually the food wasn't warm enough.. it was tasty regardless. Great flavour variety in choices. Great coffee!

Pros: delicious variety, organic wholefoods, vegan dessert selection

Cons: portions on the small side

Vegans and vegetarians should head to Cronulla!

This is a beautiful, light and airy cafe serving exclusively vegetarian (egg-free) and mostly vegan food. Optional dairy milk or cream is available with some drinks and desserts, and some of the sweets may have honey, otherwise everything was vegan. The food is delicious, extremely fresh, light and with a healthy, wholefood, organic emphasis. They have salads, koftas with spicy tomato sauce (mmmmm!) and other hot dishes based on chickpeas or eggplant. We have only been once so far so I can't remember everything. I do remember we had two desserts! Banana-walnut cakes with toasted coconut and black sticky rice with coconut cream. Fantastic! The cake went particularly well with the hot chai made with bonsoy (the queen of soymilks). We also got some cardamom-date balls to take home. Too much dessert is never enough! They also have brown rice, which is a rarity in Sydney restaurants and really puts them on the map for me. Sydney vegans and vegetarians are strongly advised to make the trip to Cronulla as soon as they can!
