Can't Believe It's Gluten Free - Edit
So, to start, I'm EXTREMELY picky when it comes to GF foods. In my honest opinion, 99% of places are terrible at GF baking.

They had one of the best chocolate chip cookies I've ever had. Ever.
It was so soft and melty and didn't taste like cardboard.
I didn't take a picture because I ate it way too fast.
Make sure to stop here as soon as you can before they close.

Good Meringue, Good Coffee - Edit
Lemon meringue tart was delicious as was the coffee I got, and I’ve never liked meringue before. 4 stars only because I didn’t try any of their savory stuff

Very cute ambiance, food was good - Edit
I got a pastry with veggie filling and it was good, but heated up really weird (inside was still cold and it wasn't even that big). I also got a chocolate chip cookie which was DELICIOUS but also weirdly very cold (refrigerated) which isn't really ideal cookie temp. I came for lunch and thought they'd have sandwiches, bagels etc but they just had frozen bagels to go.
Read moreThey don't do tipping, but have a 20% service charge. Idk why they just include that in the prices, and then not have tipping or a random charge? It just makes it seem like they're trying to make the food prices seem cheaper by hiding the real cost.
Pros: cookie, ambiance
Cons: cold food, service fee

ALL VEGAN love - Edit
Perfect spot for me (vegan)and my celiac friend. Very cute spot with cool decor. Only downside is I had to pay for parking? But maybe there are free options. I got bagel sandwich (w bacon cheese and egg)and coffee. 10/10 only a little pricy but I support it for a small business.

I love hark - Edit
Hark is amazing for offering all gluten free and vegan options. Speciality bakery items are unique and delcious! Can't even tell its gluten free.
Read moreImportant to note they no longer have an active kitchen menu. No more bagel sandwiches or menu items. Although you can still buy frozen packs of bagels to make your own at home.
Pros: Baked goods are amazing. And gluten free!, THC drinks!, Fantastic latte
Cons: A little pricey, but gluten free so worth it

Sweet vegan café downtown! - Edit
Nice vibe! Good comfort food. Love that instead of numbers to identify your order, they give you an animal picture with their rescue stories on the back ❤️ Parking is what you’d expect with the downtown location, if you’re lucky you pay only $3 and don’t have to walk more than a block. Worth it.

Had a fantastic experience at Hark! The food was delicious and showed a real passion for the craft of cooking. Pesto made with radish greens and garlic scapes? Yum! Make sure to try the croque monsieur with their homemade Gruyère cheese. Highly recommend!

Excellent food - Edit
I tried the vegan monte cristo sandwich with crispy potatoes and a cold brew. Everything was delicious. Friendly service, food was prepared quickly, and the dining area was clean and comfortable. The sandwich was an interesting take on a monte cristo, a bit different in construction and flavor than a typical one. But I still enjoyed it. The gluten free bread it came on was very good. I'm not usually a big fan of gluten free baked goods, but i was impressed with it.

The desserts that we tried were amazing - chocolate vanilla creme sandwich and Frangipane. The food was also tasty but the desserts are what really shine.

Come for the bagel sammies, stay for the pastries! - Edit
Finding a good breakfast whilst traveling for work can be a drain on the system. But as always the happy cow app pulls through in a pinch. We were staying downtown half mile from the café so it was an easy walk from the hotel. The atmosphere is super chill and inviting. People who typically do not visit a vegan cafe like this may be turned off by the lack of food options but those who know, know, concise is best and this place has it with all of their bagel sandwich options and just in case you brought the kids – pancakes!
Read moreI had the spicy boy bagel with a drip coffee on the side. Ended up grabbing a couple of the plant-based cookies on the way out the door. Chatted with the gal behind the counter who rang us up that morning. She happens to be from outside of Philadelphia so it was nice to connect with a fellow vegan from the area. I joked with her and said we need something like this back in Lancaster Pennsylvania!
This really made our day grabbing breakfast here. Good to see a privately owned business like this surviving the pandemic as many vegan places I used to eat at while traveling for work have permanently closed.
Pros: Simple and concise breakfast menu, Comfy atmosphere , Drip coffee you’ll want to swim in!
Cons: 1000+ miles from my home, Not enough ppl know of this place

Points for being vegan and gluten-free but major room for improvement - Edit
Portions were extremely small, biscuits were dense, claggy pucks, sausage tasted off, and the gravy made me sick to my stomach. I was starving and could only manage about two bites of it before giving up. My friend ordered a $12 cocktail that had about three sips in the glass. But on the positive side, she said it was delicious and loved her food. And the place was fairly busy, so people must like it. Maybe I’m being too picky

Healthy-ish, Overpriced - Edit
This place is convenient for people working downtown who want healthy-ish vegan options.
Read moreIt’s really pricey for what you get—but supposedly they pay employees a living wage, and there is no option to tip.
In my experience, the drinks and baked goods are good, but the food is just ok. I would never go out of my way for it.
Pros: Drinks, Friendly service
Cons: Price, Blandness
