Cheap and tasty

Good indian food, very little place inside. The main dish was a bit too sweet for me but I loved the samosas. They are very big and cost only 7zł

The best samosa!

We went here a couple of times to have the samosa and every time they were delicious. 6ZL per samosa as big as your hand and stuffed full of filling. Well worth a visit.

Pros: Delicious samosa , Great value for money , All vegan

One of the best samosas I’ve ever tried

It was my last day in Krakow and I still had to try this place. It was worth it! Hariprasad is a very tiny but cosy place, very close to the old town, where you can try delicious samosas, dals and curries. I had the carrot, pea and nigella seeds samosa and spinach dal with rice and chapati bread. You can also see how they cook, which is great! There’s some place to sit inside, or you can choose to sit outside instead.
Food is delicious; I highly recommend it!

Pros: 100% plant based and delicious, Very good quality samosas and cheap prices, Accepts cards

Cons: Not so many places to sit

Highly recommend

I can highly recommend their mango lassi. I liked how the kitchen was open plan, so you could see the chefs making your food. It’s near the Jewish quarter, so it’s perfect for a nutritious, inexpensive and filling meal. Just be aware that all the plates and cutlery they use are disposable, all though it’s paper and wood, not plastic.

Good Indian food

Small cafe tucked away in enclosed arcade/ street. Brusque service & small menu updated daily. Prepared fresh and delicious food. Worth a trip if you are visiting Jewish Quarter as nearby.

Pros: GOOD INDIAN FOOD

Nice whole foods

I had a potatoe pancake. It was nice! Large selection of food, mainly whorl foods, salads and Currys. Big seating area. Average price around 4 to 5 euro.

Pros: many options , cheap , more whole foods based

Lovely little place

This place is simply great. The staff is super nice, the food is great and cheap, and they have the best lemonades. It's tiny, but I think that also adds to the charm in a way, so I don't really mind. The only downside for me would the use of disposable plates and cutlery. At least it's all wood/paper and not plastic, so could be way worse. Totally recommended!

Pros: cheap, delicious

Not quite Indian...

Going for Indian food in Poland may not make a lot of sense, but we needed a break from all the fast food in Krakow's vegan restaurants.

The place is very tiny with not a lot of room to sit, but luckily as we got our plates someone else was just leaving.

There are not a lot of options, and we each had the full menu: curry, lentils, rice, "salad" (which was just tomatoes with coriander). What I really disliked was that they didn't have plates or anything else so you simply get the plate on paper plates with wooden cutlery. Everything can only get used once and then gets thrown away. Extremely wasteful and irresponsible.

The flavors were okay, but not particularly exciting. I also got a mango lassi which tasted a lot like the soy milk they must have used.

We also got a samosa just to try it which was fine.

Overall it wasn't an authentic Indian food experience, and I really dislike the fact that they deliberately create so much waste. However, if you get tired of all the burgers you may enjoy tasting something different for once.

Pros: Finally a place without burgers

Cons: Paper plates and cutler, very wasteful, Not very authentic taste

Yummy samosas

Tiny little cafe, serving samosas (two savoury and one sweet) and different curries. I had the two savoury samosas to take away - they came with sauces- and they were both very nice. There are only a few seats and if you did eat in you would come out smelling of the food. Lunchtimes only.

Pros: Nice samosas.

Cons: Very small place.
