Amazing!

Maybe the best meal I had in KL. Really friendly service and very cheap. I went for the buffet option and everything was delicious, couldn't fault it. 100% vegetarian restaurant despite what previous reviews have said, and plenty for vegans to choose from.

Really cheap, really tasty

I went and had the buffet (7RM for rice and three options). The selection isn’t huge, but there are enough options to make a decent meal. Good mix of faux meats and veg dishes. The main menu also has loads of dishes to choose from, so if nothing appeals to you on the buffet there’s lots of other stuff to choose from! Menu also clearly labels what’s vegan and what isn’t. Marking down a star for not being fully vegan!

Pros: Lots of options, Really cheap, Good food

Cons: Not all vegan

Great Chinese vegetarian restaurant

In the beginning, I would like to correct one of the previous reviews - This place is not vegan, but 100% vegetarian. Chicken and fish is plant-based - don't be confused. Everything on the menu is vegan except "one group of dishes where is noted that there is an egg".
The place is small, cute, very kind stuff. I ordered "small" salted vege and tofu soup and it wasn't small at all - you can easily share it with your accompany. The soup is very good if you feel like you want something with light taste, nothing spicy, fried..., but tasty. Then I ordered BBQ rice - it was delicious. Recommend. Pictures uploaded.

I found it!

The place is not a stall but is a small restaurant.
Unfortunately is not all vegan because they serve eggs fish and chicken.
I had a plate from the "buffet" food was ok and the staff cool.
They are not on Google Maps.
I would give 5 star if they were all vegan.

Pros: Cheap and genuine food

Cons: Difficult to find

Vegan Chinese Heaven

Got a Kung Pao Chicken with Rice, Gai Lan with Garlic Sauce and Braised Duck with Rice. All VERY tasty. If you miss Chinese Food after going Vegan you have to come here. Also prices are very good, cost me 26 MYR for those 3 dishes. Highly recommend

Pros: Flavourful, Cheap, Many options

Very basic menu

This place offers nothing more than other vegetarian restaurants near by. Also, the choice is very limited. However it is very cheap.

Good food whit less hospitality

I eat there a few times. The food was always very good at a good price/value. The place is not very inspiring, but OK.
The people working in the service hear are really harsh and some even very unfriendly.

Pros: good food

Cons: harsh staff, spotles dining room

Rips Off Tourists

Yin Futt Kuok was the first vegan eatery I came upon during my stay in KL, so I was very excited. Having just landed, however, I spoke only English, and after seating me the waitress informed me that the RM 6.50 meals were actually RM 10, due to it being Chinese New Year. I'm pretty sure none of the Chinese-Malaysians present paid double for their meals. While the food was good, [edit by staff, see ToS].

Pros: Large portions, Tasty food

Cons: Discriminate against non-Malaysians

Its pretty normal around the world to charge extra on public holidays because because bosses need to pay workers double or more to get them to work. Eg, On New Year's Eve in Australia places impose huge cover charges to pay this extra cost.
You visited a Chinese restaurant on Chinese new year, and they charged you an extra dollar than on a normal day.
It a bit unfair to say that this place rips off tourists and discriminates against non-Muslims.
It also seems outlandish that they would attempt to steal RM3.5 from you. What do you think they did with the proceeds of their crime? Bought an ice cream maybe and shared it between the staff?

You're right onto it Lanky. Yeah the deep entrenchment of industrial relations protections was one of the first things I noticed in Malaysia. And while RM 350 might not buy you much in Australia, it'll get you a full restaurant meal in most of KL. Ho hum, just another Westerner who's so absorbed in his own cultural privilege he can't even notice the surrounding context.

Standard noodles and mock meat fare

Standard noodles/rice and mock meat fare. The place is a little dingy, but the dishes were quite good. It seemed to be a family business and the portions were very big at reasonable prices.

Pros: Big portions, Cheap, Central location

Cons: Not best of it's ilk, Little dingy
