Best vegan croissant in Cinci - Edit
It is difficult to find vegan croissants and Happy Chicks is the best in the game. Fresh, flaky and delicious!

Great pastries and sandwiches - Edit
Had some time to kill this morning in Cinci, stopped by and had their breakfast sandwich on a croissant and some apple challah. Both were absolutely delicious! Spent some time talking with the owner, she’s super friendly. Only downside is there’s no seating, but there’s a park nearby where I sat and had my breakfast.

Came for lunch. The cafe menu is small, but it's worth stopping by just for the croissants!

Fun-tastic/Fantasty! - Edit
Delightful and creative variety of flavors re. the cookies, donuts, scones, cupcakes etc - plus the savory options - I had the Breakfast croissant. Perfect croissant, with tasty and filling fillings! And really good value ... that was a meal, for $10 ... then a packet of 6 delicious cookies for $6 - who sells good vegan cookies for but $1 these days? I was delighted by the quality, and very pleased with the price. These ladies are good folks, and deserve the community's support - who will be well rewarded in return!

As their name says, they are more of a bakery than a restaurant - Edit
I stopped in for lunch and found that they are carry out only. They have a small food menu, with sandwiches, salads, etc. I got a croissant sandwich, which was pretty good. I also got a couple of cupcakes, which were also pretty good.

Nice breakfast menu - Edit
We got a take away quiche and biscuit sandwich. They were quite small for the price and lacked the flavor punch I was hoping for (the tofu components were a little bland), but still good quality food.

Breakfast sandwich incredible!!! - Edit
The women inside are so nice and seem really excited to be there so it makes me happy to support. I love to get their breakfast sandwich on a Croissant. Never had a vegan croissant until I came here but this was sooo good.

Good - Edit
Strawberry Lemon cupcake was divine. Moist, light, and sweet; perfect. The fruit bar (I think it was apricot) was also very good.
Read moreI grabbed a pretty mini cake but didn't like it. Their vanilla cake is that old school, beige, a little on the dry side vanilla cake from the vegans of the 70s-90s. There are way too many master chefs doing vegan cake right to settle for anything less. Hopefully, they'll improve on their vanilla. They can look to places like Vegan Treats in Bethlehem, PA, for how to do a delicious vanilla cake.
Prices were fair and desserts were fresh. When in the area again, I'd certainly stop by to try more of what they have to offer.

Amazing - Edit
Fantastic find in Cincinnati! All-vegan bakery with fresh baked goods as well as breakfast sandwiches and lunch options, even house-made chickpea nuggets. The croissant was excellent! Everything is vegan so no labeling required, can offer breakfast sandwiches on a gluten-free biscuit. Wish I lived there to be able to go back!

Bigger on the Inside 💚 👌🏾 - Edit
Not to spoil the surprise, but this place has thoughtful food, decor, art, community resources, and people with a sense of humor. The menus here feature many locally-sourced ingredients and in-house preparations like spicy ketchup 😋 for those of us who partake 😌.
Read moreIn keeping with best #COVID19 practices, people here wear masks, and of course the masks are pretty too (like the art on the walls, and like conversation here).
There 👏🏾 are 👏🏾 plants 👏🏾 here! 👏🏾 many plants, including big plants. There's at least one orchid thriving enough to have multiple blooms… they just keep 'em coming here! 🌺
Note: They close earlier than some bakeries and cafés, and hot food orders stop ahead of closing. If you're thinking to get hot food after 3pm, call to check or pre-order by phone.
Pros: Vegan cupcakes, Variety of vegan baked goods and hot foods, People here care about community and say so
Cons: Street parking is limited. Free lot nearby, Hours might be a challenge for evening explorers

Poor customer service - Edit
Let me start with this:
Read moreI love using happy cow and I have had wonderful experiences based on the customers recommendations. This is my first review here and I wished it was different but I must share this so you can be aware of it.
I am visiting Cincinnati for the weekend and as a long time vegan (15 years) it’s alway wonderful to find new vegan restaurants.
I was looking forward to try this one.
The description says they are open until 4pm. I arrived at 3:28 to a person that look at me like if she was mad for coming at this time. She was very cold and moody. She repeat several times that we will have to leave the place at 4pm and that they will only take orders for 15 minutes. They were rushing, my food was cold and the overall experience was not pleasant.
I hope they consider better customer service.
Blessings and happy new year.

Happy to find happy chicks! - Edit
A real gem! We were happy to find a vegan place and even happier to discover that the food was excellent, the staff was friendly, and the price was reasonable! We had the biscuit sandwich, croissant jam, quiche, cupcakes, and gf donut of the day! The biscuits were the standout, but it was all wonderful! It was also fun to walk around the Northside neighborhood after we were done eating.

Delightful! - Edit
Not overly expensive. Friendly staff. Delicious cupcakes and donuts. They also have popovers, quiche, empanadas, and so much more. All vegan. Bring your own coffee cup. The coffee is good, they offer oatmilk creamer and agave syrup besides just sugar. The creamy potato soup is delightful, the "chicken" nuggets are made in house and delightful, much better than store bought. I would highly recommend stopping by if you are in the area.
