Serves meat, vegan options available. A retro diner with a lot of seating and a friendly, small town vibe. Has a large menu with many veg and vegan options marked clearly on the menu, including burgers, subs, salads, burritos, smoothies and hot chips. Has almond milk. The diner has free wifi and also has a few arcade type games. ADA friendly, patio with games and play area and a doggie dining area. Breakfast is served from 6:00am-11:30am, the rest of the menu all day. Open Mon-Sun 6:00am-8:00pm.

Really good menu - Edit
Went here twice - both meals were brilliant. Had an impossible burger and vegan burrito. They have a huge menu and everything is clearly labelled with a * if it can be made veggie/vegan. Decent portion sizes and good value for money.

Special place! - Edit
Really cool that this charming diner features some vegan dishes on the menu. While the food I had was nothing special, dining at this place definitely is.

Meh - Edit
Definitely diner food, nothing is made in house. Only have gone because we just need something to eat after a long day of hiking but wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for a quality meal. Spent $48 (before tip) for gardein burger, double impossible burger and 2 upgraded sides (tots). Menu said both burgers came with vegan cheese but they came out without cheese.

Adorable vibe - Edit
Friendly staff, many vegan options. I ordered a Portobello burger and sweet potato fries. The bun was delicious and the the sweet potato fries were like steak fries.

Great place with a caveat - Edit
I really liked the retro style of this dinner and it’s amazing to have so many vegan options in this rural area. Yet, the waitress informed us that all food, vegan as well as meat, is fried in the same oil, therefore you have to decide yourself if this is vegan or not. I opted for the portobello burger since the mushrooms aren’t deep fried with any other food and it tasted good, even though it’s more a sandwich than a burger.

Meh 🫤 - Edit
It’s true what they say, there are a crazy amount of options. While they are clearly marked vegetarian, they are not clearly marked vegan… you’ll wind up asking a lot of questions. There’s actually too much on the menu, in my opinion. I think the quality of the food might suffer under the sheer quantity of choices. Also, the place is pretty dirty. There is grime everywhere, including on their diner cups. Not a fan of that. Service was also slow as molasses.
Read moreThere is one vegan almond milk shake available, it’s meh. The flavor is strawberry banana, and the banana tastes artificial and takes over the entire flavor profile. It also separates just sitting on the table while you eat.
The vegan nachos were ok. There was a whole lot going on for surprisingly little flavor. They would greatly benefit from something creamy, like cheese.
Overall ok, but I won’t care if I never eat here again.

Cute diner decorated with old LP covers. Super friendly staff. So many vegan options, it was difficult to choose! Ended up going for a beyond meat burger which was super tasty, and a nice treat after a long day of hiking!

Our food was so good! We had the beyond burger with vegan cheese on a vegan bun... yum yum yum! So many vegan options on the menu, which was very clearly labeled! Loved it! Can’t wait to be back!

Lots of options - Edit
Went here for breakfast & dinner during a trip to Yosemite. The food was okay. My favorite was the breakfast burrito. The side of breakfast sausage was just one link cut in half (for $6!), and the milkshake tasted like cough syrup. I appreciated the options though and the staff were friendly.

Hooray for the vegan dog! - Edit
Since I already had eaten all other kinds of vegan food on my trip, the vegan dog was a welcome surprise and it didn’t disappoint! Had some vegan mayonaise with my seasoned fries and I really really enjoyed it!

Yummy diner food - Edit
Happy Burger Diner is a very welcome option when headed to Yosemite. It has multiple clearly labeled vegan options. They were promoting their "new" menu options for Vegan Dog and Vegan Nachos! Now vegan dog didn't surprise me but vegan nachos?! That seemed surprising. I had to give that a try, along with the dog of course. Huge plate of nachos which were somothered in enchilada sauce, guac and salsa. Both dog and nachos were very good.

So many vegan options I didn’t know what to pick and as always I order more than can be eaten. Full vegan range of good for you and not so good for you foods. The Mexican was great!

Happy Traveller - Edit
Found this place by accident but so glad that I did! So many vegan options. I had the black bean vegan burger and it was so yummy. The staff are friendly. Food can take a little while to come out because it gets so busy in there but I honestly didn't even care as they had free, fast wifi and a place to charge my phone. All I could want as a travelling vegan in the middle of nowhere!
