Food was amazing-best vegan burgers and coleslaw ever. We arrived very near to closing time but staff couldn't have been more helpful with explaining the menu and offering us take away as table service had finished.

Hank is a chain of vegan burger restaurants. I really liked them in Paris. This restaurant here in Lyon was also good, but I was not as amazed. Quite a few options cost extra, and overall, the place is not super cheap.

Delicious, extensive fully vegan menu, several different options to form a meal. Wish I was in Lyon for longer to try all the different burgers! Had le double smack, was ridiculously good.

Great vegan junk food, a chain that has branches in a few different cities across France. I love that they offer options for homemade vegetable based burgers and mock meat (I think they use beyond burgers) - great for those who like meat alternatives and those who don't. The vegan cheese fries were also very good.

I had the double smack burger which was really good! Had a sauce that was a little spicy which was amazing. My friend who is a carnivore had the steak beyond burger and said it was good but didn’t taste like a real burger. 🤷🏼♀️ Personally- I don’t like when it tastes too much like the real thing so I didn’t notice that.

Read moreI had the sergeant Pepper and it was ok. The vegan cheese inside the burger is probably the best part of it, with the Beyond Meat steak (that was extra money, otherwise you get a classic veggie patty).
The burger itself is big and quite fullfilling yet not super tasty.
I found the bun pretty dry and so were the potatoes. Vegan mayo was ok.
Does the job for a junk food craving and is not too pricey.

if i’m not mistaken, hank burger is one of the first 100% vegan restaurants that ever opened in lyon. literally my favorite spot to get burgers in town. their recipes are so good and they can turn basic fast-food stuff into delicious fancy burgers.

Loved their delicious vegan cheese fries. Hated the dry, hard chocolate chip cookie. The burgers are made with Beyond Meat burgers, but I didn’t try one largely because I remembered not liking the burgers at the Paris location very much.
