Hank, short for Have A Nice Karma, opened this location in 2018. Features a menu of flavored burgers, house-made salad, sauces, fries, desserts and beer. Also offers Sunday brunch with scrambled vegan eggs with mushrooms, guacamole, salad, potatoes, croissant, stewed apples/pears, yogurt, toasted bread and drinks. All vegan, with an ecological focus. Delivery via the Eatic, Ubereats and Deliveroo. Reported closed February 2025.

Great place for yummy vegan burger!! There is only one burger but you can choose the sauce of your preference out of 6. Vegan deserts are also available!

Tried their fig sauce burger which was very good, together with their colleslaw and carrot cake. Great food and friendly service, good value for money. Highly recommended for a quick delicious and filling bite! :)

Bien pour dépanner et pas mauvais mais dans mon burger 'catcheuse' les légumes qui étaient censés accompagner le steak vegan étaient à l'unité : une feuille de salade, 3 brins d'alfalfa, 1 tranche de cornichon et je n'ai pas vu de tomates... Alors quand on annonce une base avec DES tomates, cornichons (j'avais demandé sans oignons) et de la salade il faut essayer de s'y tenir même si cest la fin de la journée... Quoi qu'il en soit même si l'offre de burgers de ce type se développe, les clients ne seront jamais aussi exigeants que pour des restos autre que des snacks.

I must say that I had better vegan burgers before. There was nothing wrong with the burger, but it was lacking a bit creativity in its composition. Also, the bread was too sweet for my taste. Also, non of the beverages are self-made. Pieces are allright but not cheap.

I knew about them in the VeggieWorld Lyon this year, I tried the burger there and it was delicious. Now, they opened the restaurant and let me tell you that the experience is even better !!! I ordered a burger, a coleslaw and took a lemonade. It’s worth it; the food, the place, the music and the service. 5/5

I landed in Lyon and after a train ride and getting settled in accomodation and walking up a massive hill and down again, thank cheeses I found Hank! The menu is simple in French and English and the staff extremely warm, kind and patient with my being travel dazed (what country am I in now?) and I ate from le Grand Menu. I ate a burger, coleslaw, fair trade cola and a cookie. €15. I enjoyed it all especially the coleslaw and I’ll be back during my short stay here because I know what I’m getting is tasty and reliable and there are 5 different sauces to try. A good find in Lyon.

Terrible and vapid - Edit
I’ve been vegan for six years, but there’s no excuse for bad food, especially if you’re specialising in something. I got the wedges with cheese and mayonnaise, these were quite good, but you can’t really go wrong with this combination. I also got the burger with fig sauce, but it was so terribly bland that I could barely eat a quarter of it. They were so stingy with the toppings. They didn’t even add vegan cheese like it said and there was barely any of the fig sauce. I felt like I was just eating bread. I was intermittently reading and working up my courage to try the apple crumble, which was the dessert of the day, as I couldn’t eat the burger because it was so bad, and then they randomly started playing music, but the music was so awful and so incredibly loud that it just sent me over the edge and I had to get out of there stat. I took a couple of mouthfuls of the crumble, but this too was bad that I just chucked it down onto the table and left with haste. Absolutely horrible food. The app won’t let me give it one star, but if I could, I would. I don’t know how they’re going to entice non-vegans when it even sickens people who are already vegan. One of the worst culinary experiences of my life. Save yourself the money and avoid.
