Delicious burgers. - Edit
The burgers are so good and juicy! Probably one of the best patties I had. I took their menu with the "Double Smack" burger, sweet potatoes chips and the included soft drink of your choice from their machine. I also added the carrot cake as a dessert, which was good.
Read moreI ordered a second time a few days later but as a takeout this time, which was quite inconvenient to carry as I had to hold my drink with my already loaded hands. But that also meant less waste so I am not complaining.
(unfortunately I was too hungry to even think about taking a picture of the food itself haha)

Pros: Tasty and really juicy burgers., Friendly staff., Good sauces.
Cons: Quite expensive., No cup carrier for takeout., Some chips were quite burnt.

Nice burger but expensive - Edit
I got the burger with fig sauce (a nice mix of sweet and salty). It was nice but the bun wasn’t amazing and the patty was falling apart a bit. For €11 euros I would expect a bit more. I was full afterwards but not sure if it’s worth the money. Maybe I’d go back and try the other burgers but I’m in no rush to return

I have been going now and then to Hank for a couple of years. To make it short, it is quite good, service is friendly, but nothing is exceptional. There are better vegan burger places within walking distance.

Classic Paris vegan burgers! - Edit
Since 2016, the first meal I've had during a stay in Paris has been Hank on Archives. The burgers and fries are consistently great, and each addition to the menu makes it better. This location's upstairs sitting area gives it a little something extra too. It's the classic Paris choice for good reason.

Read moreI've been ordering burgers at Hank every now and then for six years and I have a couple things to say. First, the burgers (most of them!) are really good! The gluten free option is also a huge plus, although you gotta pay two more euros for it. The fries are quite good, too bad it doesn't come with sauces.
I recently tried the La Vie bacon burger, and it was good, even though I can get the exact same bacon from the local store. I expected a bit more, probably. I also tried a Croque-Monsieur. I was super excited about it because I didn't have one in like a decade. But it was really not my cup of tea.. I only had one bite and it felt way too greasy for my taste.
I give Hank 3 stars out of 5 because nothing really changed over the years. Which is fine, because the food is often yummy - but still! It's often the same thing. It gets also reaaaally hot in the restaurant, and it can be fairly noisy too. There's too much water in the drinks too.
The staff is super nice.

We had a meal deal with a burger, wedges and a drink. The burger was excellent, lovely flavours and the patty itself was amongst the best I've had. We also had some nuggets which again were excellent. Really good value for money, quick efficient service and helpful staff that helped us in English. #Veganuary

I have known Hank Burger for a long time, and I really like going there when I crave burgers. I always order the black pepper sauce burger, I feel like this seasoning is missing elsewhere. Tasty burger, the fries are good too.

The place is nice but I’ve seen other burger patties, they were so tiny.
Not sure I really recommend, unless you’re hungry like I was

Mes amies non vegans et moi-même vegan avons pris des menus burger potatoes boisson, on a toutes beaucoup aimé! Le goût est là! J'ai pris le capitaine Hank, façon fish, et mes amies le façon poulet sauce mangue, tout était très bon! Mes amies non vegans ont trouvé que le poulet végétal était bluffant.

I tried it on a whim a very rainy day and they were out of almost everything and the staff was not really friendly when I asked what remained to be ordered, what was on the menu exactly (it was impossible to understand since the details were all over the place). And in the end we were served a mediocre Beyond Meat burger with no real taste or twist...

Eight years ago, we discovered Hank Burger, and I loved it. The original review read: "We were just in Paris with two of our girls and one girl's fiancé. One vegan (me), one almost-vegetarian, one pescatarian, one former-vegetarian omnivore and another omnivore. On a Sunday evening, we looked for vegan restaurants and found most closed. Hank Vegan Burgers was on the opposite side of town, but we decided it would be worth the trip, and boy, was it! Between us we ordered four different varieties of burgers, and everyone loved theirs. Yes, it's tiny, the menu is limited, and sometimes you have to wait for a table, but I would highly recommend Hank to any vegan, vegetarian or veg-curious in Paris. It is proof that vegan food can be delicious as well as nutritious. Five thumbs up!"
Read moreThis year, we were back in Paris, and the first night there, we headed for Hank Burger. Sad to say, but I wasn't as impressed this time. They advertised Beyond Burgers, even on the board in the restaurant, but didn't actually have them (apparently they have been discontinued now). There's nowhere to eat inside unless you go upstairs, where it was hot as hell and there is only one fan. The burger I got was good for sure, but not amazing.
Granted, Paris was overwhelmed with tourists last month, and maybe Hank Burger was just overwhelmed as well. But we discovered better vegan food in other areas of the city, and never returned to Hank.

Read moreThe place is apparently iconic, and it’s for a reason. The beyond burger was juicy, the brioche soft, and whatever kind of aioli I had OH SO SAVOURY BABY. I can’t fault this burger - actually wait I found one. There wasn’t two of them. Am I right?
To be serious for a second though if I’m nitpicking, 11 euros (~18AUD) is maybe a bit steep, but more or less standard for a burger these days. And we’ll worth it for a burger of this quality.
Also Nicola reckons a famous YouTuber who is a “Dolan brother” was sitting behind us while we were eating. Personally didn’t know but apparently was a big deal. This did not contribute to the 5 stars Hank burger gets however, they earned the rating all by the quality of their juicy burgers.
