Soooooo, the food is all right (not anything special, and I could have made it at home) BUT WHAT REALLY GRINDS MY GEARS about this [censored] hole is that THE MANAGER AND ALL THE STAFF WERE [censored] [censored]. Here’s what happened: On HappyCow it started that this establishment took phone orders/take-out orders. So I called and no one picked up the first TWENTY TIMES. Finally, when the manager did pick up, he answered with, and I quote, “Make this fast.” Now, I’ve worked in customer service for all 22 years of my life, and I’ve never been taught to answer the phone that way. Clearly, he needs to go to finishing school. Anyway, after I stated that I’d like to place an order, he rudely stated “LET ME CHECK IF WE HAVE TO GO BOXES” HUH?!?!? You’re suppose to do take-out, so I was confused. Then when he confirmed he had boxes, he proceeded to take my order, again, very rudely.
My friend and I took the dangerous walk (less than half mile) to this barcade. Let’s just say, the bouncer was the nicest person we encountered. Once we got in, I told an employee that I had a take-out order and wished to speak with a manager. He stated he was the manager and I proceeded to tell him how disheartening the customer service over the phone was. And guess what, HE WAS THE ONE THAT TOOK THE ORDER. He proceeded to mansplain that they don’t take over the phone orders and that they were SOOOOOOOOOOO busy that that’s why my calls were neglected. There were LITERALLY ten men in the bar, so you tell me if that’s busy. Anyway, he did not genuinely apologize but said “sorry, but. We get cranky” just to get me to shut up. I did not take that lightly.
Then the bartender proceeded to THROW an empty can of beer VERY CLOSE to my friend and I.....let’s just say the environment wasn’t very welcoming to the 21st century woman.
The manager continued, as he brought out our so-so food, to mansplain why he answered the phone the way he did. I was not having it. I did not tip nor will I EVER go here or recommend it to anyone.
I have been traveling to Portland for five years now, and HAVE NEVER RECEIVED SUCH DISTASTEFUL SERVICE. I’m from Boston, and we wouldn’t even treat customers that way (and we’re the mean ones).
PLEASE MAKE THIS VIRAL SO NO ONE RETURNS AND THEY SHUT DOWN FOR GOOD.

Moral of the story, if you expect the slightest bit of decency in food service, DO NOT GO HERE!!!! It’s truly not worth it :)
