More and more vegan (and... BEYOND) - Edit
UPDATE: they now have the BEYOND meat burger!
Read moreBackpackers, Inter-railers and other tourists: don't miss this place!
When I travel I'm always super happy to find veg places in stations, and my hometown is no exception: each time I have to get a train from Bruxelles midi I make sure to arrive 30 minutes earlier to grab a burger at greenway.
What I also adore is that the team working there is vegan and makes sure to serve vegan food by default, and encourage their management to extend the vegan offer (eg they used to have ovolacto brownies as weel as vegan ones; if someone asked a brownie without specifying; they'd get served the vegan one😄... But nowadays I think they no longer sell ovolacto desserts at all!

Not so sure - Edit
I am not so sure about this place, i like the taste of their products but I'm not so sure about their politics. First time I went there I thought it was completely vegan, but then I realized they had milk products in some of their products even if they were saying they were 100% plant based. So i forgot about asking if they were fully vegan, assuming they were, and I had a wrap, that caused me some problems, because it contained milk on the sauce. So i was completely disappointed. But just next week I read in the social media they were finally 100% vegan, so despite this very bad experience i said ok lets give it a second chance. And the taste was good, nice staff, i was happy. But then I went for a third time, and of course even if they say they are finally 100% vegan, i asked before ordering my food if indeed they were, and they told me they got croissants with butter, the second time i also asked so and they also got some kind of dessert with milk products or honey, so i dont understand. they cut off some of their milk products but not all of them, what makes the situation a bit confusing... so i dont know i feel confused. on the other had the times that i ate vegan food there it was tasty, they are a big company, who is doing interesting things in Belgium, working with big supermarkets or big brands, who is bringing beyond burger next month. I simply dont understand why they keep playing with that nasty milk in their foods. I'm not so sure if it is a company policy or if is just Brussel's Greenway. feel confused, and I'm not trusting anymore

Vegan fast food Bxl Midi-Zuid train station - Edit
Correct vegan fast food in the train station Brussel Zuid. Burgers were good. A little bit expensive, but it's such a very good thing to have a 100% vegan place while travelling and passing by Bxl, because there's not a lot of vegan spots in the capital, unfortunately.

quick fix at the station - Edit
Greenway had their staple delicious food and I always received my food fast and with good service. Only downside is that the menu often stays the same, also among their different locations. Upside is that you always endulge the amazing kebap wrap

Jummy food! - Edit
I ordered a delicious kebap wrap and a freshly pressed juice. The kebap was pretty big. The lady that helped me was friendly and works really quick. Make sure you don't have a date after eating the kebab since it has jummy garlic sauce on it. You can eat very healthy here but there are also enough junk food options.

Red pepper burger is awesome - Edit
Excellent location and fast service. I can recommend the red pepper burger, but there are a number of options on the menu that look very tasty. I’ll certainly go back the next time I’m waiting for the train in Brussels South. Plenty of space to sit down but also easy to take away if you have to catch a train.

Good fast food in the train station! - Edit
This is from a visit in November 2016.
Read moreWe had lunch here before boarding the Eurostar to London.
We know Greenway very well, have also been to the restaurants in Ghent (the original one), Louvain and Antwerp.
This one is more like a foodstall, but there are some seating places too.
Mexican smoked Jalapeno burger (7,95€) and a Yakitori Wrap (7,95€). Fresh juice was 5€.
Loved the food, didn't have to wait long. Vegan options clearly indicated.

Welcome stop for weary travellers! - Edit
Great vegan options for a train station outlet. 3 wraps, 2 burgers, a curry rice bowl and more. All clearly labelled and one of the sweetest staff I've ever met, Sara, was knowledgeable and friendly. They say card payment only but I have had my cards stolen and they kindly accepted cash in the circumstance - and made me an extra big wrap to cheer me up! Good wifi. Not an inspiring seating area hence only 4 stars.

Tasty wraps - Edit
This place is located inside the train station and is perfect if you need to grab a snack between your trains as their service is really fast. Moreover, the wraps are well-packed and eatable without spilling sauce. I have tried two different wraps that were packed with fresh vegetables and very delicious.

Fine for a ‚friendly‘ snack - Edit
Perfectly okay for a train station: Friendly staff, a few vegan and vegetarian snacks, incl. cake, juices, wraps & a soup. Quality is okay; peaceful place, no fatty smells. Good coffee. Soup could me less thin but it was vegan, so hey ;)

Most of menu is vegan.

I visited Greenway between trains while traveling. It was a great relief to find a restaurant within the station with so many vegan options. I enjoyed the latte with soy milk and the sweet red pepper burger. The burger was very good, but had a bit too much of the creamy mayo-like sauce for my liking. I ate with an omni, who enjoyed his regular milk latte and yogurt parfait with banana.
Pros: Most of menu is vegan, Friendly and helpful staff, Convenient for train travelers

Mouthwatering vegan wraps, salads and dessert - Edit
Very cosy place and welcoming staff. They serve different wraps, salads, desserts, etc. Everything looks very delicious. I tried a vegan wrap, which is accompanied with a small pot of salad. That wrap with falafels was one of the best that I've ever tried.

Just finished my mexican burger on the train from Brussels to Amsterdam, and it was hands down one of the tastiest burgers I've ever had! I wasn't even hungry, but I'm still craving for another one! Also super friendly guy behind the counter.

Pleasantly surprised - Edit
When we finally found greenway (the Bruxelles Midi train station was a huge construction site when we went), we had two really really good wraps! We were actually surprised, by how tasty try were, greenway being a franchise and all. Of all the items on the menu, I'd guess that about 95% are vegan or can be made vegan. We seriously recommend going and want to come back for the burgers :)

Sorry I Only Came Here Once! - Edit
I went to Greenway on the last day of my trip, on my way back to the UK. It was so delicious, I wish I would've eaten there a few times. I had a lovely wrap with a side of potatoes - the food was hot, fresh and tasty. I didn't find it too expensive compared to other places in Brussels. I also got served pretty quickly, despite the fact there was only one staff member. I would DEFINITELY eat here again, tasty 'fast food' in the train station. Fab!

Fresh Vegan Options at the Station - Edit
Visited in October 2016.
Read moreWe were looking forward to taking away at Greenway after checking the reviews; however, I must say we were disappointed.
We had two wraps (falafel & yakitori wrap); and we found them to be too heavy and, too salty in case of the yakitori one.
On the bright side, the portions were good, and the vegan cake was yummy.
There are plenty of vegan options to choose from (you can check the menu in advance online); but unfortunately we did not enjoy the choices we had that much.
The stand is run by one nice & friendly person.
So your food might take some few minutes to be ready.
By the way, there are some few tables in front, in case you want to eat right away.
