Great concept, good food, decent price - Edit
I would definitely recommend this restaurant. They are focussed on local products and have a variety of great meals.
Read moreThe only problem is that people are aware of it. Which means it can be very busy and that you have to wait quite some time for the staff to reach your table. Also people are going inside to take matter in their own hands which causes even more disruptions in the productivity of the staff

My partner read somewhere that take away food is only available on Thursday evenings (we think). We weren’t quite sure how it worked but got one of everything. A hot dog, paella, tart/savoury pastry and meatballs. The meatballs were my favourite but they were all nice. Seemed incredibly cheap and I’m a bit worried he didn’t charge us enough. We also got a soft drink. They seemed to have a lot of variety to purchase. We don’t have a kitchen unfortunately.

The place to go for fake meat - Edit
If you are looking for any type of fake meat, this is the place to good. Lots of brands and type and you can buy bulk (mainly frozen). Opening hours are a bit weird, so check before going. Far from the center but close to La Zurriola beach.

There is a lot of choice for vegans. Fresh food, frozen food and also cosmetics. If you also visit thr place on thuerdays, they do vegan "pintxo pote"(which means you pay for the drink and you get a pintxo for free) fom 7pm.

A very impressive selection of vegan products. Literally almost any 'fake meat' product you could think of. However, there are very few things which are priced (i.e. there are no prices). Would be better if there were prices on the items so that it wasn't a shock when you got to the counter :)

We love to do our shopping at Green Meat. They have lots of different vegan cheeses and they sell the products from The Vegetarian Butcher from Holland. The owner is a very passionate vegan and while you're there you can play with her cute dog Wicky.
