Rude staff
I wish I wouldn’t have to rate this place like this, but I’ve never met such a rude and arrogant waitress in my life. She was annoyed and rolled her eyes just when I entered the place and continued to treat me with such an attitude I had to leave. Such a pitty as i wanted to try their omlette. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had and I’m not a person who likes conflicts.

The place is very nice BUT and its a big BUT....
Read moreThey use only brown rice as bio but jasmin rice as normal which is mostly contaminated with poisoness gmo rice even if its premium.
sometimes with knowing and sometimes by mistake in the big gmo countries.
also the peanutbutter is not bio so its normal poisoness often gmo peanuts that they mix in ceappy chinese or argentinian,usa [censored] nuts.
If they would sincerely(not just saying outside but then use normal inside) start to think abt this then it would get 5 stars. right now it get 3,5 bec the staff is very nice and the place is nice.
update the bistro has been asnwering and its sad they cant use more bio stuff(as i thought first because there is bio sign on the entrance) but i still think they could use the rice as bio since its not big difference at all to buy their premium rice and real bio rice.for example bio jasmin rice here in shop (to consumer not the cheaper restaurant price) cost per 1kg in normal shop is around 2,70e for bio jasmin rice to consumer.around 1dl per person 0,27cent.
so restaurant wholesale price in big bags would be cheaper? but lets count on the shop price. it would be 0,27 per portion. difference from premium rice is not big at all per portion.maybe 0,10 per portion. so theres no need to double the price. its enough with huf 35raise and voila u have bio rice to be proud off to serve :)
also the peanut butter is packed in netherlands as u say but they use cheap [censored] poison and or gmo peanuts mixed from argentina or china,usa. so it would be nice if u can think to change the peanut butter and raise the price of the pancakes with a small raise its not much peanut butter per portion anyway so the raise will not be big in money talking per portion.
here i found bio peanut butter to be 30 to 50% more expensive so its not a superbig difference in money counted per portion when u have so many customers as tourists but i also found 1kg bio peanut butter that was around same price as conventional on net so maybe they have cheaper also there in big packages.
Please think on this its very important for stopping the gmo companies poisoning of the world and our bodies and our nature and the workers in poor countries and their families and ground water.
One of the workers or the owner? is supergreat so please think on this :)

Hi! They have never used normal rice, just organic brown rice and AAA premium jasmine rice.
Read morePeanut butter is also the best quality without palm oil.
They1re using tofu and tempeh which is guaranted organic and non GMO proof.
Before you right some untrue staff please be sure it is proven. Thanks!

As we talked about it in the Bistro, we do use organic products but not everything is always organic. It is quite difficult in Hungary to source organic in all vegetables/fruits and packed goods, not to mention spices etc. Also we need to be sure our prices meet our customers' budgets, as even though quality, flavour and veganism is extremely important to us - at the end of the day it is a business and if we charged double as much for a daily menu we'd see our lines at lunch time getting shorter and shorter.
This is a compromise we have to make! Believe me I'd be the happiest if we could use solely organic goods and maybe one day it'll be possible to do so. But we regret to admit that at the moment it is not.
Regarding the peanut butter we use: it is from the Neatherlands :)
Also there might have been some sort of misunderstanding and I do apologize if it was on our side, but we don't actually state everything is organic in our Bistro.
