Lots of vegan choices and very tasty. The vegan Moussakas and the chocolate soufflé were amazing and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

I really can´t understand the one star rating that was given here. Maybe the review poster really had bad luck, because this is a great restaurant with tasty vegan options! the friendly german waiter björn quickly noticed we are looking for some vegan food and carefully explained the dishes. we had vegan pasta and moussaka, which both were great, but the moussaka is really a must have! cheers to björn and the rest of the team, the promised recipe will follow ;)

A great restaurant with multiple vegan options in Paleokastritsa, Corfu - Edit
Gran Aladino has a separate menu for vegans. Hooray! We have tried all of the meals and they were lovely to say the least. As we have stayed for more than 10 days, the owner Maria proposed to us to prepare something vegan from the traditional Greek cuisine for the next days. It was such a hit! We had the pleasure to try several different amazingly delicious meals like: Briam, Chorta, Spanakorizo, Stuffed veggies with rice, Vegan Fasoulakia, Vegan Pastitsio, etc.
Read moreIf you have a sweet tooth, then you definitely have to try their Vegan Chocolate Mousse as well as their Vegan Baklava. They were our top choice for a dessert while visiting Gran Aladino. Last day we tried also the Vegan Halva with Vegan Ice Cream and that was once again incredible :)
You can feel safe at Gran Aladino because the staff knows really well the details about which ingredients are vegan and which are not. You can trust them. :)
We were happy to find this gem :)
We gave 4 stars because the system doesn't allow us to give 5 stars when the restaurant is not fully vegan or vegetarian but this is a 5-star restaurant. :(

This restaurant was basically the only option on the entire island for vegan food and luckily it is absolutely FANTASTIC!
Read moreThe family who run the restaurant live in the same village as my dad and are so lovely! They all speak perfect English, one of the waiters is also German so Germans are covered for language barriers too.
The food is absolutely incredible! We went there several times during my stay and where never disappointed
Pros: multiple choices , healthy and naughty options , being certain on the food actually being vegan!
