Good - Edit
Got the classic glazed donut. Was a bit too sweet for my taste, but the dough was fluffy and light.

Get the raspberry for life changing results! - Edit
Other flavours are great but raspberry and hibiscus ones are wonderful and the umami flavours pair well with the sweetness of the doughnuts

Great doughnuts - Edit
We arrived about 1pm on a Sunday and there were 7 vegan doughnuts available. Unfortunately they had run out of almond milk for coffee. The matcha doughnut was fab and my partner enjoyed a classic glazed later back at our hotel.

Sold out at 1pm - Edit
I visited, very excited to have a vegan doughnut but was sorely disappointed. I visited on a saturday at 1pm and they were already sold out of all vegan flavours and desserts - and the staff said they wouldn't make more for the day.
Read moreWe were told to visit the bakery 2 stores down which had a couple of vegan cinnamon rolls left. I bought those instead.. which were delicious but not what i had hoped for at all.
Will maybe return but as soon as they open for the day.
Pros: good location, promising menu
Cons: sold out early, few options

Disappointing - Edit
You are required to order before sitting down, not fun when you've walked a long way and want to relax. Despite the extensive list of vegan donuts on the menu there were only 3 flavours available , we got the raspberry and lemon which had a good texture but the icing was way too sweet. Wanted the almond latte but was told it was sold out , so no vegan coffee option . Used the restroom , there was no soap to wash your hands , asked the staff who said they don't have any soap and tried to hand over napkins, so you wonder how the staff wash their hands . Give it a miss.

Not too greasy - Edit
Donughts were nice and light but tastewise nothing too special. There were multiple different vegan options, 4 starts for that. I ordered chai tea on the menu and got it with milk. I was able to return it and get money back. They didn't have soy milk.

Just ok - Edit
After reading all the great reviews, I had somewhat high expectations, I guess. They only had one vegan doughnut left when we got there, the mango one. We got it, but I was a bit disappointed. The doughnut itself had just a normal store-bought doughnut taste, nothing extraordinary, but the mango frosting had a too chemical sugar taste. Far from the best doughnuts I've ever had, and I have traveled specifically for vegan doughnuts. I need to go back when they have more variety, but if this taste is all they have to offer, I don't see a reason to visit again.

Had a super nice experience here! Recommended going early because by afternoon time alot of the vegan flavours are already gone. The vegan donuts are great but a little on the pricy side...

Vegan doughnuts in a variety of flavours - Edit
These are the nicest vegan doughnuts we’ve ever eaten. They were light, fluffy, flavoursome. The flavours available were vast and exciting. The staff were super friendly. The lemonade was great. We went back for seconds. So good!

Great donuts! - Edit
I bought a chocolate donut from here yesterday but only got round to eating it today. It still tasted really good. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the vegan donuts are clearly marked in a separate display case, which was a really good touch I thought. Would definitely return. They had some more adventurous flavours (I think about 9 or 10) but there was a queue so I just got a chocolate one!

best vegan doughnuts i've had! - Edit
the most delicious fresh and light doughnuts we've ever had- delicious selection of flavours. I just had the cinnamon sugar one with an almond milk cappuccino which was an absolute dream in Japan! Would recommend, it is expensive but it's a treat!

Only sugar... - Edit
I am disappointed of the taste. The dough is good but the glazing ( chocolate, raspberry or even the mango ) tasted like chemicals and not real flavor because it's mainly sugar I guess. It's good having a vegan selection of donuts though but for the price it's not worth it. And I wonder why vegan ones are more expensive than the regular ones.

Incredible Vegan Doughnuts - Edit
I consider myself an expert on vegan doughies and the ones at Good Town Doughnuts are some of the best I’ve ever had!
Read moreThey’re light, fluffy and the glaze was perfect (had the Glazed and Cinnamon Sugar) which went well with the iced latte I had with them.
Would love to see some vegan savoury options on the menu but to be fair, who would bother when you’ve got those doughnuts waiting for you?!
Pros: Great vegan selection , Reasonable price, Amazing doughnuts
Cons: No savoury options

Tasty donuts, variety to choose from if you come early enough as they sell out quickly - especially the vegan ones! Delicious yet slightly expensive matcha latte which can be made with almond milk.

Nice donuts, expensive coffee - Edit
Arrive early as they sell out of vegan donuts. We came at about 3pm and there was only glazed donuts left, they were still delicious😄thought the coffee was nice but very overpriced for what it was - around 700 yen for a small almond milk latte (about 8oz), coffee with dairy was quite a bit cheaper

Delicious donuts - Edit
I tried the glazed and the chocolate donuts: both were so delicious, you could not even tell that they are vegan, I mean they were just good and probably even tasted better than the best Krispy Cream Donuts or Mister Donuts ones I used to have a few years ago. Nice cosy place too.
